“Divya, you should do it properly. There are lots of mistakes” Abhimaan said with a soft tone, checking the file Divya was working on.
“I'll do it again, Sir” She replied, looking down and extending her hands to take the file back.
“Divya” Divya was leaving when Abhimaan called her and she turned towards him with a smile on her lips.
“Yes Sir”
Abbimaan stood in front of her with scrunching brows. “Divya, right now I'm asking you as a brother, are you happy?”
“Yes bhai. Why not?”
“You are off Divya. We all can see it and feel it” Abhimaan palmed her cheeks and she fought back her tears with a sweet smile, and gulped the hurt.
“I'm okay bhaiya.”
“No Divya you're definitely not okay. After coming back from that house you're not even sitting and talking with us properly”
“I'll be okay in some days. Just give me some time. Also I'm trying to be a good intern here”
“The office is yours as much as it's ours. I asked you to work under my supervision. But you said that you wanted to join as a mere intern”
“I don't want people to call me taking advantage of my brother and father in my career bhaiya. Also it'll help me to gain some experience”
Divya and Abhimaan were talking when a knock appeared, he looked at the door and found his PA.
“Yes”
“Sir, the CEO of Rajvansh enterprise has arrived for the meeting” Abhimaan looked back at Divya, and found she was looking at him with a questioning gaze.
“Please ask them to come” He told Priya and she left.
“We are doing a partnership with Mayank's company, for the Germany client.” Abhimaan informed. Divya nodded her head and was going to leave the cabin when Mayank was entering the cabin, behind him there was Raunak.
Their eyes met for a moment but she averted her gaze and tucked her hair behind her ear, before smiling at Mayank.
It's been more than one month since Raunak had seen her. She has lost some weight, he could tell. Her face was not glowing like it used to before. And her eyes were gloomy as if she didn't sleep for a while.
“Divya” Mayank called for her but she was already out of the cabin towards her cubicle.
“Divya here” Mayank asked, entering inside and sitting on the couch, Abhimaan led them.
“She has joined the office as an intern” Abhimaan informed and looked at Raunak with his scrutinising gaze.
Raunak felt self conscious and corrected his coat. Before looking at his direction and smiled. Abhimaan just nodded his head and started talking with Mayank regarding the project.
