It was the day of the Rose Bowl. Exactly a week later, JJ was at the fields all day long while I was with the Mccarthy's and my family getting ready for the big game.

"Good morning everyone." I said jumping down the hotel steps where we were staying the whole time. Katya smiled at me, I was wearing jeans and converse with a jacket that had Mccarthy's girl and #9 on the back. "Good morning sis. You look so good." katya compliments me and i smiled.

"you look good yourself." i said and bella smiled at me twirling around with her outfit. "As always my little bell slays the day away." i said pulling her into a hug and she smiles.
"thank you, and so are you. i mean look at you. jj is one lucky guy." she said and i felt myself going into a fit of laughter

"thank you b. you're too sweet." i said pulling her into a headlock while she tries to get out of my grip. katya laughed videoing everything for us to watch later. Mama Meg, caits, and morgs were walking down behind Katya and we all headed to the field to be there and get pictures

A few hours later the stadium was packed. A large section of crimson red was filled on one side of the stadium for Alabama fans, and the other we were in was filled with blue and maze colors. We were trying to get hyped up and ready considering we would be going to the natty's next week if we won. We also haven't had a national championship in a decade so this is our once in a lifetime chance to make a big change for Michigan. I was standing beside my sisters and the McCarthy's when both teams were led out. I was jumping around along with Bella getting hyped up as we danced to the music that was playing before kickoff.

"Welcome everybody to the 2024 Rose bowl, Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverines. This is gonna be a big one so get loud and proud." The announcer for some reason tried to speak over the loud crowd and it had me crying of laughter. A few of my favorite moments of this football season was meeting the love of my life. And I couldn't be more proud of him and the person he is.

Katya came over to me and smiled hugging me. "That boy is head over heels in love with you. You are going to be future Mrs McCarthy before you know it." She whispers in my ear and I couldn't help but smile. "He's the love of my life, I don't see myself with anyone other than him. He made me who I am today." I said and as we smiled at each other we turned to the field as kickoff began. I leaned over the edge of the stadium thing and watched the game intensely. JJ had the ball and threw it only for it to be intercepted by one of the Alabama Defenders.

I sighed feeling terrible for him. He was trying his hardest to make this game a life changer. "Come on J." I whispered to myself with my hands up to my lips praying for him. "Come on Honey." I heard his dad say holding mama Meg into him as she was showing a sight of sadness of such a horrible start for us.

JJ had stood on the sidelines with Coach Harbaugh and i watched him carefully. He stood there watching his team do defense and he had kept his eyes glued to the field. One of our players had intercepted the ball from Jalen Milroe and JJ immediately threw his fists in the air pumped up along with every other Michigan fan and player in the stadium.

"YESS LETS GO COME ON!" I screamed after watching the play and every Michigan fan was jumping around waving their Poms in the air. Katya gave me a look of reassuring and joy as the play happened. I nodded at her knowing everything would be okay.

It had been a few minutes and we we're up by 5, it wasn't much and it didn't seem like our Michigan team like our previous games. But I had no doubt that JJ wouldn't do anything to get his team to the Championship. I had faith in the guys and I knew he did too. I knew he had so much faith in himself to do this.

Halftime came around and we were now up by 10. Still wasn't like us but we were fighting like hell to get into that Championship and I was nothing but proud of our guys. The team had been walking inside the locker rooms as JJ looked towards the family. He nodded at every one of us and sent us a big smile just seeing his people there for him. He waved at me blowing a kiss. "I love you" he mouthed the words with a smile and I chuckled. I blew a kiss back mouthing those three words that meant so much back.
