Marilyn's pov
The drive didn't take that long to reach the swan's house considering its close to mine
putting my car in a stop I see Charlie making his way to me
"Marilyn" he smiles
I got out my car and gave him a quick hug before asking
"Hey Charlie, where's Bella?"
"She's upstairs but she'll be down in a moment"
I hear a red truck pulling over on the side then a quick honk before i see 2 people coming towards us . It was Jacob and Billy black
I shook hands with Billy
"Marilyn still looking beautiful I see" Billy says
"And your still looking good " I gave him a playful glare
We both laugh and then I gave my attention to Jacob
"Jacob , been awhile" I gave him a warm smile
He returns the smile "still wanna hang out later?" He asks
"I'm down"
Then I see Bella walking towards us
"Bella you remember Billy black" Charlie says
"Yeah" Bella gives Billy a hand shake
"Wow your looking good" she says
"Well still dancing" Billy says
"I'm glad your finally here, Charlie here hasn't shut up about it since he told me you were coming"
Charlie mumbles and next thing I see is Charlie and Billy playfully fighting
I roll my eyes and shake my head a little before looking at Bella
She looks at me
"Hi the names Marilyn , you must be the Bella swan that Charlie and Jacob keeps telling me about " Jacob nudge me and I giggle at him before extending my arm to shake hands with Bella
She returns the shake and gives me a smile before letting go of my hand
I see Jacob smiling like a lovesick puppy. I fake cough before he introduces himself
"H-hi I'm jacob"
"Hey"
"We uh we used to make mud pies when we were little"
"Right no I remember "
He gave a quick laugh
"Are they always like this?"
"Its getting worse with old age , trust me" I said
She nods
"So What do you think?" Charlie says as he slaps the trunk of the truck (I made a rhyme =] )
"What?" She asks confused
"Your homecoming present "
"This?" Bella says
"Just bought it off Billy here"
"I totally rebuilt the engine" Jacob says
Belly gives a happy gasp "Oh my gosh!" She exclaims "the- this is perfect! Are u even joking"
Jacob tries to sprint towards the other side before Bella accidentally hits him with the truck's door " sorry-"
"Told you she'd love it " Billy says
