Am I...dreaming? (Volturi kings love story)

Chapter 2

Marilyn's pov

I find myself waking up from a weird feeling of something brushing against my arms . I slowly open my eyes as I awoke I'm shocked at what I see

"Am I.....dreaming?" I ask myself

I pinch myself to try and wake myself up but it only caused me to flinch a bit of the pain

I'm not dreaming but where am I?
I suddenly remembered putting my phone on my pocket. I immediately start searching my pocket and thank goodness it's there

"Thank God...now." I opened it and tried looking at my map to atleast see where I am but unfortunately for me I have no signal

"Damn it!" Sigh..I stood up and looked around

"Well if I wanna survive on wherever I am ill have to find my way out the forest first"

And with that said I walked around. after walking for a good 5 minutes I find myself feeling as if I've seen this place before..

Suddenly i hear rustling from a bush behind me and what I saw made me stood still.

Infront of me..was a bear that looked about  300 pounds. It looked like it was eating. I slowly back away...it seems luck wasn't on my side as I see it slowly walking towards me

I stopped moving and find myself unable to move . It lunged towards me. I stumbled backwards and fell on the ground and  i was just ready for it to possibly kill me. But then I felt a wind brush against my skin. Before I could comprehend what's happening I see a man lunging at the bear and killing it like it was nothing. The man looked at me

"Hi there love , u lost?"

Infront of me was a man that is honestly attractive . He had long dreadlocks and what's seems to be a jacket?suit? Of a colored orange but he had no shirt on which reveals his chest. What caught my attention was his eyes.
They were blood red...

Wait...is this...no..

"Ah apologies i forgot to introduce myself the names Laurent , pleasure meeting a fine lady like u"

Laurent.

"Tho I enjoy the view love I'd rather have u standing rather than just staring at me" he reaches his hand to help me get up

After a bit of hesitation I accept his help.as I stood up I slowly remove my hand from his but before I could he kissed the back of my hand

"And you are?" He smiles as he asks

"...Marilyn" I remove my hand from his after I told him

"Ah such a fitting name for a Beauty like u"

"Now Marilyn why are u here all alone in a forest..dress in...that" he looks at me up and down

It hit me that I'm still in my sleepwear

(Imagine her in this and with just a matching slippers on ;>)

I'll have to tell him something

"I- I was running away"

"Oh? And from who?" He asked seemingly interested on what I have to say

"From people...that tried to hurt me...they're after my uncle and all of his relatives. I don't know exactly what he did but it seemed bad enough for them to hunt me down aswell . I'm not exactly sure how I ended up in the forest I just know I ran and woke up here."

I mixed truth and lies within what I told him to avoid looking as if it was fake

He looked at me with sympathy

It was starting to get dark. I needed to get out of here.so I need to ask even if I know the outcome

"Thank you for saving me Laurent but can you please tell me where I can find a hotel? I need somewhere to sleep in its getting dark aswell"

"Love as much as I would love to help you , I'm afraid I'm sure you've noticed my eyes. And that I am no human." He says

I can't tell him I know what he is. But it wont end well with me if i lie

"Are you..going to kill me?"

"I was. But now that I think about it , it would be a waste killing such a beauty like u. So..I'll have to explain "

I knew what he meant...

"I am a vampire..and being one is truly magnificent but we do have...laws. one of them is if a human were to know of us we either kill them or...turn them"

"L-laurent.....I don't wanna turn..just yet"

"Hmm...but if I don't turn you or kill you that would be mean i broke a law and it will cost my life if i do that"

"I can keep it a secret!"

He reaches his hand towards my cheek

"And why should I believe that?"

"I know you may not believe me but exactly as how u saw me earlier I'm lost in this forest. I know noone here so who would even believe me if I told them about vampires?"

He stares at me then removes his hand from my cheek

"Alright but were gonna need...a deal"

I gulped

"What deal?"

"I'll let you go but you'll have to live in this town so I can watch you  to make sure you don't tell anyone of our existence , it'll be our little secret . Deal?"

"There's something else in this deal...isn't it?"

He laughs with amusement on his face

"Beautiful and smart, yes there's more to this deal.  I'd like us to know eachother more if we're gonna keep this secret , like friends "

Knowing this will probably be my only chance

"Its a deal then "

(Time skip)

It's been a good 4? Or I think 5 months since I was basically pulled inside of twillight and surprisingly it's been good after having that deal with laurent.

I found out that I am indeed in forks , I managed to connect my phone to a internet and found out I had..alot of cash in my acc , yes I know before dad left that night that they left money in my acc but I never knew It was that much with the money I bought a house.

That was weirdly close to the swans house and for the last 2 months I've been making money through internet so money problem is out

True to Laurent's words he did kept on watch of me but it lessen when he told me a few vampires were with him , I know it was Victoria and James but I can't tell him that , we did become great friends which I found surprising

I managed to befriend alot of people such as  the Cullen and  the chief police himself Charlie swan he told me his daughter will be coming in about 2 days , he seems excited even tho he doesn't show it. he told me that he hopes me and his daughter Bella would get along and even be friends

With that in mind ...I wonder if I can managed to help Bella in the further future..maybe even change the fact that they'll face the volturi..I always wished they never experience that pressure of being turned
