Chapter 12

Marcus made it to the infirmary and the human staff quickly did their work helping Marilyn

They had to ask Marcus out due to needing to give Marilyn an emergency operation.

Marcus was pacing back and forth , trying to not think of the inevitable.  He never believed in God's but at that very moment he prayed for Marilyn

Aro and Sulpicia were waiting aswell . Even if aro tried hiding his concerns, it didn't seem to work considering Sulpicia tried her best to tell him that his mate will be okay.

Caius was also there and trying his best to not burst into the infirmary to turn Marilyn.

But then the door burst open

They all sped towards the staff and asked questions that even if the staff were a vampire he wouldn't be able to keep up.

'How is she?' 'Where is she' 'can we get her?' 'Does she need to be turned ' 'how did the operation go?'

"Master's please calm down , Ms rose is okay , we managed to control the bleeding before she lost too much . Her arm is broken but it won't take long for her to recover."

They sighed in relief knowing she's okay..but the doctor was hesitant to say the next words

Sulpicia decided to speak considering the kings were hesitant to ask aswell

"..what is it that you seem hesitant to tell us" she asked

The doctor inhaled a deep breath before speaking

"Indeed she is stable but..Due to the amount of grip on her neck and lacked of oxygen for a period of time , she is currently in a coma. We don't know for sure when she will awake..."

To say the kings were concern was an understatement they were restless. They felt guilty.

The staff told them they can stay with Marilyn as long as they'd like.

The kings and queen nodded and went inside .

Days turn into weeks..weeks turn into a month

Marilyn has been in a coma for a month..

Caius was in rage. To himself  and for not being there in time to protect her. He rarely attends trials knowing he'll just rip anyone that comes inside the throne room. So he is also always in the infirmary hoping that she'll soon awake

Marcus has not left Marilyn's side , he was scared that if he left her . She would disappear. He refused to leave her side. That the staff had to bring blood bags to him , because he didn't wanna feed

Aro was trying his best to make sure trials were on schedule. He too wanted to be with Marilyn but with his brother's often refusing to do their duties he had to do it all by himself.  Sulpicia helped him which he was grateful for but knew deep down he wanted to ignore all of the duties and be with Marilyn.

They each had a promise that if she were to awaken no harm will ever happen to her again and will shower her nothing but love and affection. For they cannot live to see her like this. They promised this upon their eternal life.

I felt my eyes open and I woke to see I'm in..an infirmary room?
