The kings entered the room where they found Marilyn sleeping peacefully at the couch

Each one of them wanted to lay beside her and just hold her and wait for her to wake up

They somehow settled with aro and caius's sitting beside Marilyn while Marcus sat opposite of them. Just after they got settled aro spoke

"Marcus I believe you still owe us an explanation "

Cauis sat there looking at the peaceful human sleeping even after knowing she's in a castle full of vampires. He grew frustrated of how her presence makes him feel warm. He hated it.

Marcus's spoke making cauis give him his attention, also wanting to know why they felt attach to her.

"She..is our mate"

"What?" Cauis spoke. He then turns to look at his brother aro before looking again at marcus

"And would u like to tell us why you didn't tell us after knowing? Surely you've known about this for awhile brother considering how strange you've been acting. Not to mention how u held her during the trial." Aro spoke

"I've known about it for awhile , yes . My reason being I wanted to give her a chance in experiencing life. if one of you knew about this you would of Sended demetri to get her." Marcus argued

Caius stood fully enraged

"Give her life!?, what if she died!? Do not expect me to forget the pain we felt a few months ago!." Cauis argues back

Caius's was enraged knowing his brother kept a secret that involves they're mate and enraged that he is feeling and acting this way upon only knowing her for a few hours

As the brothers argued they failed to notice the human who awoke a few minutes ago and witnessed it all

As aro listened to his brothers. he was the first one to notice the mesmerizing bright green eyes observing them

"Mia Cara did you slept well" aro asked

Making the two brothers look to see the awaken beauty

She nodded before sitting up

Marilyn's pov

I was beyond confused as to why they were arguing..

The story will continue but with me staying here I won't know what may or may not happen..

"...can..someone explain to me what a mate is? ..I didn't mean to eavesdrop but I heard u say I am your mate..what is it?" I asked

I heard them talk about me being they're mate but what is it??

I looked at aro and he gestured towards Marcus

I looked at marcus , he thinks for a moment before he spoke

"Do you know what a soul mate is?"

That didn't help with anything.

"Uhm..yes?. It's really hard to explain but from what I know it's like someone that is perfectly suited for you"

"Correct , that is similar to what a mate is..as a vampire we tend to live long..it gets lonely and so we have mates. They are ones that satisfy our lonesome. They bring joy into our life, and then there is a true mate it is alot different from mates , it is truly a rare thing.a true mate is where our soul is connected . They are connected and destined for us from the moment they are Born. They are the ones that completes us. They are so rare..that some of us die not knowing them. We have witnessed it before but we never experienced it..until now" He looks at me with pure admiration
