The scene opens up with Hiro looking after six Robot Masters and Mega Man cleaning the debris as he smiles.
Hiro: Things are going well.
Things are going well for them as Hiro looks behind to see Dr. Light being interviewed by B&C Gazette.
Ripot: That's quite the display of power. Not totally unlike when they attacked the city.
Dr. Light: You mean when the Robot Masters were reprogrammed and misused against the city. Light Labs has elected to clean up the destruction for free, not just to make amends, but to show the world what the Robot Masters were truly built to do!
Ripot: And what's that, Dr. Light?
Dr. Light: To help people, Ripot. To make the world a better place.
Hiro: Excuse me, Doc.
Dr. Light: Oh, Hiro, what brings you here.
Hiro: I heard that you got some upgrades for me to use.
Dr. Light: Oh, the scanner upgrade. Well, it was meant to be an improved version of your copy abilities rather than a physical touch. So, I left it at lab. So, you can get it yourself. It's already finished.
Hiro: Thanks, doc.

Gilbert: Pretty words there, Doc. But I'll be seeking a second opinion.

Gilbert: Federal Agent Gilbert D. Stern.

He looks over the second agent.
Roslyn: Federal Agent Roslyn Krantz. We need to speak with Dr. Light, please.
Dr. Light: Uh, Hiro.

Dr. Light: How about you go to Light Labs now while we talk?
Hiro: Sure.
With that, he walks away.

He arrived at Light Labs, where he entered and found chip components for him to use as he picked it up.
Hiro: This must be the upgrades for me to use.
He then insert it inside of his head as he sees a hub where he can scan his opponents to copy as.
Hiro: Nice. Well, nothing left for me to do but to check on my first friend.
