MAERA GLARED AT LORD CORLYS, SHE WASN'T SURE IF HE WAS GOING TO STAND WITH THEM, The tension was very high in the council meeting. "I'm very sorry about your father, Princess. He was a good man." Lord Corlys said.

"Where is Daemon?" He asked. "There were other concerns." Rhaenrya said. "You declared allies?" Lord Corlys asked. "Yes."

"Too few to win a war for the throne." Lord Corlys admitted. "Well, we would also hope to have the support of Houses Arryn, Baratheon, and Stark." Rhaenrya said.

"Hope..is the fools ally." Lord Corlys argued. "Both Arryn and Baratheon share blood with my house. But all of them swore oaths to me." Rhaenrya declared.

"As did House Hightower, If I remember." Lord Corlys said. "As did you, Lord Corlys." Rhaenrya stated. "Your father's realm was one of justice and honor. Our houses are bound by common blood and common cause. this Hightower treason cannot stand. You have the full support of our fleet and house. Your Grace." Lord Corlys said.

"Your honor me, Lord Corlys." Rhaenrya nods her head, she looked back at Rhaenys. "Princess Rhaenys."

"I made a promise to my father to hold the realm strong and united. If war's first stroke is to fall, it will not be by my hand." Rhaenys said. "You do not mean to act?" Lord Corlys asked. "Taking caution does not mean standing fast. I wish to know who my allies are before I send them to war."

Lord Corlys informs Rhaenrya about news in the Step Stones. "I shall take Meleys and patrol the Gullet myself." Rhaenys said.

"We must first secure the support of Winterfell, the Eyrie, and Storm's End." Rhaenyra said. "I'll prepare the ravens, Your Grace."

"We should bear those messages. Dragons can fly faster than ravens and they're more convincing. Send us." Jacaerys said. "The Prince is right, Your Grace." Lord Corlys said.

"Very well. Prince Jacaerys will fly North. First to the Eyrie to see my mother's cousin, the Lady Jeyne Arryn, and then to Winterfell to treat with Lord Cregan Stark for support of the North. Prince Lucerys and Princess Maera will fly south to Strom's End, and treat with Lord Borros Baratheon."

"If you take this errand, you go as messengers.. not as warriors. You must take no part in any fighting." Rhaenrya stated. Maera glances between her mother and her sword.

"Swear it to me now under the eyes of the Seven." Rhaenrya added. Ser Erryk hold out a big book. Maera has never seen it before. Lucerys was quick to place his hand on it. Maera and Jacaerys share a look.
