THE FALL OF KINGS LANDINGMAERA HAD SENT LETTERS TO THE VALE, AND THE STORMLANDS TO LET THEM KNOW THEY WERE GOING TO STIKE KINGS LANDING TODAY. Rhaena had sent news she had claimed the dragon, Grey Ghost to patrol the skies of the Vale. That meant that Lady Jeyne Arryn would finally send her men.
Maera placed her hands in her face when she woke up next to Alys. Maera was about to sit up but Alys pulled her back down. "Why must you go?" Alys whispered. "We're going to take my mother's throne today." Maera softly smiled, turning to Alys, pressing her elbow against the pillow, leaning her chin on her hand.
"Can't you stay a little longer?" Alys tilted her head. "I cannot." Maera muttered. Alys sighs. She knew what was coming, who was coming. And it scared her.
"You alright?" Maera asked. Alys nodded her head, coming back to reality. Alys sat up, Maera following her movements. "I'm scared, Maera."
Maera caressed Alys shoulder, caressing her arm up and down. "Why? Do you know something?" Maera asked. Alys glanced between Maera's eyes and lips. "Something.. someone's coming to Harrenhal. Terror is upon us."
Maera frowns. "Upon me." Alys added. "No one's going to hurt you, because I'm right here." Maera reassured.
Alys wrapped her arms around Maera's body, burying her head in the younger girls neck. "I just need you with me right now, just a little longer." Alys whispered. Maera muttered an okay and held Alys tighter. Their naked bodies pressed against each other.
There was a knock at the door. Maera and Alys pulled away from each other. "Who is it." Alys demanded.
No answer.
Maera quickly slipped back into her clothes, while Alys remained in the bed, not caring much of who saw them.
Maera slightly cracked the door. It was Daemon. "Maera?" Daemon frowns. "Daemon?" Maera's eyes widened. "I was not informed you stayed here." Daemon stated. "With Alys." Daemon added with a slight smile.
"Well-"
"That explains the noises I kept hearing last night." Daemon muttered. "What do you want?" Maera asked, quite embarrassed. "I was going to say farewell to Alys, she's my friend." Daemon answered.
"You have friends?" Maera teased. "Very funny. Come on, We'll go to Dragonstone first, and then strike Kings Landing. We'll finally take your mother's throne and kill that one eyed cunt." Daemon stated.
"I heard you almost killed him." Daemon added. "I should've finished him off." Maera whispered. "You've been given another chance, you'll have it soon." Daemon nods his head, placing a hand on Maera's shoulder.
Alys appeared next to Maera. "Farewell, Alys." Daemon nods at her, pulling his hand away. "Daemon." Alys returns it. Daemon walked off. Alys pecked Maera's lips. "I'll miss you." Alys whispered.
"I'll miss you as well." Maera grinned, grabbing Alys hands. "I'll come back and take you on dragonback." Maera added. Alys softly smiled.
It was too good to be true.
Daemon and Rhaenrya had come for her throne.
The Cannibal's wings covered the skies of Kings Landing. Daemon's gold cloaks loyalist opened the gates when they saw the dragons above the skies, allowing the strength of The Riverlands, The Vale, and The Stormlands thru.
The dragons being Caraxes, Syrax, Seasmoke, Sliverwing, Moondancer, and Vermithor. Rhaenrya did not allow Jacaerys to come with the them since his dragon was the smallest of all of them.
