BATTLE OF TUMBLETON

A NEW ARMY OF GREEN LOYALIST MARCHED UP FROM THE REACH AND LAID SIEGE TO THE CITY OF TUMBLETON. Rhaenrya had sent two of her dragonseeds to lay waste to them when she heard the gruesome things occurring there.

Instead the dragonseeds proved their bastard natural and betrayed her. They burned the city, killing the blacks forces within.

Rhaenrya held a council after the news came back to her, Maera was furious. She wanted to mount the Cannibal and kill the traitors but Rhaenrya objected at first.

Daemon had gone away to hunt Aemond in the riverlands, he grew impatient that Maera wouldn't go with him. So he flew to Driftmark and had Rhaena fly with him, while Baela protected Dragonstone.

Maera could join them when she wanted but she wanted to kill the traitor's first, then she'll fly to Harrenhal.

"You have to leave Kings Landing, Your Grace." Mysaria said. Rhaenrya shook her head. "I am not leaving. I cannot, I've held Kings Landing for not even half a year."

"The traitors can turn towards Kings Landing and attack." Corlys added. "I won't let them take it from you." Maera stated. "Allow me to fly out with Addam and kill the bastards." Maera added.

"I don't trust Addam, what if he turns against you?" Rhaenrya asked. Corlys looked between the Princess and the Queen. He hoped Rhaenrya wouldn't have Addam killed, or locked in a cell.

Maera shook her head. "He won't, I can assure you, Addam is loyal." Maera assured. Rhaenrya closed her eyes, and sent a nod at the Princess. "Lord Tully will be coming with me, to command his army." The Princess said. Oscar nodded. "Yes, Princess."

"I know this means it leaves Kings Landing defenseless, but I promise you, We'll kill all of them. Aemond will be our last threat." Maera said.

Oscar nodded at the Princess's words. "Brandon and his army have killed dozens from the Lannister army, Jason Lannister has been killed." Oscar said. "That leaves the Hightowers our last standing enemy." He added.

"Good." Maera muttered. "To tumbleton, then." Maera rose from her sit. Rhaenrya stood from her sit as well, and walked over to Maera. Everyone from the table rose up.

Maera watched her mother closely. "I know that you'll come back, but I want you to know that I love you, and to come back, unharmed." Rhaenrya placed a hand against Maera's cheek. "I command you too."

Maera chuckles. It was like if they were the only ones in the room. A sweet mother and daughter moment. Maera nods her head, placing a palm against Rhaenrya's hand. "I'll come back. I promise." Maera smiled.

Mysaria smiles at the interaction, while Corlys and Oscar had their heads down. Rhaenyra plants a kiss on Maera's forehead, and Maera turns her head to the table, nodding at them.

"My lord." Maera stated. Corlys looked up at her. "Princess." It was like she was saying her final goodbye, and she was, The Princess herself did not know if she was going to come out of Tumbleton alive.

Maera looked towards Mysaria, Maera sent her a warm smile. "Princess." Mysaria smiled at her. Maera turned to her mother again. "Mother." Maera whispered, and left the room.
