It has been a week since the team had returned from their trip to Sanya.

It was back to the intense training and no one dared to slack off, especially with the new season just around the corner. Everyone was diligently playing either in pairs or ranking solo.

Tong Yao's phone rang while she was in the middle of a game so she carelessly answered it and quickly put it on speakers.

"Hello?" she greeted boredly as she tried to focus on the ongoing game.

"Jeimei, you won't believe what just happened!" shouted the voice of her best friend.

"What?" Tong Yao responded as her fingers flew across the keyboard furiously. She was pushing and beating the other team .

"Do you remember our super cute friend that all the girls in our middle school were obsessed with and had their heart broken in high school, Wen Tianye?" Well guess who's back in Shanghai??" Jinyang exclaimed excitedly.

"Yea I think I know,I met him at the Sanya during the vacation. He was there with his co-workers for some business work" replied Tong yao.

"He just messaged me on WeChat and asked if I wanted to catch up over dinner at that restaurant you like with the really good seafood dishes.

You should come with me! It's been so long since you've last seen him. Do you think he's gotten more handsome? Tong Yao, who do you think is more handsome, your Cheng Ge or Ye Ge?"

At that moment, Tong Yao's computer flashed the 'Victory' sign but she felt as though her soul was shattered with one question from her supposed best friend.

She can feel the daggers and dead gaze coming from the pair of eyes from the person next to her.

"...Jin Yang, you're on speaker," Tong Yao said reluctantly.

"....I'll pick you up in 10," Jin Yang said, then abruptly hung up.

Tong Yao slowly turns her head and nervously looks at her boyfriend.

"Hehehe, Cheng Ge, may I be excused? Look, I finished my training for the day," Tong Yao asks the captain. Lu Sicheng gave her a deadpanned look.

"Who's more handsome, me or Wen Tianye?" he asks seriously with his dead gaze.

"You! Always you! Who can be more handsome than the ZGDX captain?" Tong Yao answered quickly and with much passion. It was the truth though. Who can be more handsome and stronger than her boyfriend. She had really hit the jackpot.

Lu Sicheng turned his attention back to his computer and answered with a smile, "Go. Come back soon. Keep your phone on you at all times and be aware of your surroundings. Don't forget your hat and masks and remember to wear it. I won't be there to protect you."

"I know, I know. You're such a nag. Bye!" Tong Yao said as she hurriedly got out of her seat. She leaned over and gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek before racing upstairs to get her things to head out the door.

After a couple of minutes, Tong Yao flew back down the stairs, this time wearing a black bucket hat and a black face mask that covered more than half of her face. She even wore a baggy sweater that eerily looked familiar to one that the captain had worn before to attempt to hide her figure. She skipped over to the door and left excitedly.
