As the iron gates of New Vegas swung open, revealing the bustling cityscape beyond, a surge of anticipation coursed through my veins. Y/N's bloodied face contorted with pain, but I paid her no mind as I gripped the rope she was leashed with tighter in my gloved hand.
As we marched forward, the security robot trailed closely behind us. The streets of New Vegas were alive with activity, neon lights illuminating the faces of gamblers, traders, and pleasure-seekers. But amidst the glitz and glamour, there was a darker undercurrent pulsing through the city.
Our destination was the towering Lucky 38 casino, the stronghold of Mr. House. The robot securitron, ever eager to assist, led us through a maze of corridors and elevators, effortlessly bypassing guards and security checkpoints. It was as if the city itself had opened its arms to us, welcoming us into its depths.
Finally, we reached the inner sanctum of the Lucky 38, where Mr. House awaited. The room was adorned with futuristic technology, holographic displays projecting images of the city and its intricate systems. As we entered, the presence of Mr. House loomed large, larger than life.
However, what I saw before me wasn't actually Rob House, but an even more impressive securitron robot integrated with his physical body. House had created a chamber to extend his lifespan, integrating himself with the subsystems of the Lucky 38 via a cerebral interface. The robot version of House emerged from the shadows in the windowless room, illuminated only by the screens.
