71. Do you have proof?

"Slowly you are becoming more and more like our parents. I don’t think it will be that difficult for you to live with them. Just cause you did a good job today that doesn’t mean you will be any good. Just remember how you spend all your life. It won't take you long to be exactly like them." 

Rose froze on spot. Realization hit her very hard. All those misdeeds flashes infront of her eyes like a movie.

Y/n is correct it won't take her long to be like her parents completely. Suddenly guilt became unbearable for her physically and mentally. 

An intense amount of fear crept inside of her becoming someone like her parents.

"W-what should I do? How can I get over t-this y/n?  What must I do to get rid of this guilt and monster side of me?" Rose asked seriously but still in a daze. 

Y/n's eyes widen slightly at the look on her sister's face. She knows this. She is very familiar with this look. It's pure guilt, self-hate, and redemption. Y/n smiled internally, she played it well and Rose won the gamble of her life. 

"Did you realise what the actual problem?" y/n asked, she really hoped that Rose's answer met her expectations. 

"Yes. The problem is me. My obsession with seeking attention, ruining others' lives so I can get a comfortable life. I have been acting all my life, as a person that I'm not. I have been wanting something that's not mine, instead of earning i've snatched it. I've always kept my mouth shut when I should be screaming for the Justice. I have never found true happiness in my life. What I thought of happiness was just an illusion.  I became my parents' puppet, a prized possession for them. But it's not completely their fault.... I let that happen. And the worst of all is that I never regretted it. I'm indeed following their footsteps." Rose answered honestly which brought a genuine smile on y/n's face. 

"But y/n, this realisation is killing me. This pain is unbearable. What do I do?" Rose asked painfully desperate to stop this ugly pain of guilt and regret.

Actually she wouldn’t be this much triggered all this but when she saw how her mother turned out suddenly she became anxious. She does not want to become a murderer. She doesn't want to be that twisted or mentally sick.

"Confess your sins, ask for forgiveness from the people you have wronged and forgive yourself. Go to every single person you have hurt tell them your true feelings and beg for forgiveness. Have some courage and confess your deeds Rose. And lastly forgive yourself,  Maybe that's how you can actually overcome everything and become a good person." y/n said softly. 

"I have been jealous of you ever since you were born. I never wanted to lose attention and love to you and become a loner. I knew you were better than me in everything I felt insecure about you. You had everything to shine brighter than me. This is why I pushed you away from me and everyone. I pulled all those dirty tricks to break , you cannot outshine me. I did you a very dirty. Please forgive me sister . Please I beg you. I even thought of snatching your boyfriend away from you. I accept my sins. Can you please forgive me y/n?"  Rose broke down crying. She is genuinely asking for y/n's forgiveness after accepting her mistakes.

Y/n froze for a moment.

Rose is genuinely asking for forgiveness. No tricks, no pranks, no acting. Isn’t she the reason why it all started?  Her former life was a disaster but a lesson. Y/n cannot believe that Roseanne Kang is actually saying sorry after confessing everything to her. 

Y/n showed her sister a way of self-redemption. And Rose started it with her. 

Y/n never knew how much she needed this.
