56. Underwater

"Holy shit Jeon you own this own fucking fancy shit?!" 

Jungkook scratch the back of his neck chuckling. 

A private island with the most expensive resort. This island and the resort are designed by one of the best architects. So yah!  It is beyond her imagination. 

Since Jungkook doesn’t show off fancies, she thought it would be naturally simple and beautiful. But she is so wrong. 

"It's only for business though." Jungkook's comment 

"Well no shit sharelock. Tell me no show me the hidden gems already!" y/n exclaimed happily 

Jungkook feel much better now watching her excitement. 

He swore to protect this smile always. 

They went inside the resort. 

Y/n went to her room. She changed her clothes, all ready for the day. 

Her phone buzzed. 

She picked it up. 

"Y/n, care to explain?" Sean Kang's deep, concerned yet dominating voice demands an explanation. 

Y/n sighed, she knew her uncle already knew about all of this, but didn’t bother cause he believed she could take care of this. But things got really messy when y/n left South Korea for work. Now that she is not in there, those rumours are getting out of hand. It's risky for the CEO's reputation as well as the company. 

"Whatever I do please don't react uncle. Trust me." y/n said firmly. 

"Okay. I'll be trusting you as always." he said and cut the call. 

Y/n knew her uncle wasn’t only tense because of the company but also the fact that y/n is being pressurised by her own parents. Again, ahead of all this, he trusted her. She has proven her worth years ago. Now she is a grown-up woman. If she asks him to trust her, then he will. If she asked for his help he'll do anything for her. 

Y/n heard a knock on her door. 

"Y/n, come on we are getting late." Jungkook said from the other side of the door. She put her troublesome thoughts aside and went out with Jungkook to enjoy the last day of vacation. 

Jungkook took y/n, who was almost done visiting the places. The whole time y/n enjoyed but Jungkook couldn’t. He tried to put his worries aside and focus on the present. But how can he when he doesn’t know the whole story yet?

However y/n could tell this man was not over it yet. She thought that by the time he would be alright, just like everybody does. But little did she know that green-eyed man's entire life revolved around her, how could he be okay when she was suffering so much. 

Ergo, whatever was taking toll on him, he kept them inside and let her enjoy the day since it was the last day of their vacation. 

He doesn’t know when he will be able to see her again, hold her again, see her smile. Moreover will the things will still remain this good between them after returning to South Korea?  

He is afraid. 

What if she got lost in her daily life and forgot him?

He shook his useless thoughts. 

Jungkook looked at y/n who had a small smile on her face. 

'She looked so peaceful and happy.'
