18. Mother and sister

I'm in Boston currently. I want to go outside and explore it after meeting it Won't be possible so I want to do it now.

I took two bodyguard with me who'll keep an eye on me from far. Even though I don’t need it but you never know danger doesn’t call before coming. Since I'm in different country I should take them.

I went to a shopping mall first I buy some dresses and watch for Rowan and Uncle Sean. I brought a dress for my grandma and a matching suit for grandpa. I've never gift them anything. I Called a bodyguard and handed him the staff I brought. There's a Art Gallery nearby I think I'll visit there. I want one for my office.

There Arts are pretty cool. Even though I'm not into them but still they look cool though. I have to find one for my office that go with the decoration and my personality.

"Y/n?"

"Mom look It's y/n."

I turn to find the owner of the familiar voice.

What the fuck Rose? And mom? What they are doing here?

"Y/n, why are you here? When did you came?" my sister asked voice full of curiosity. My mother frown at me.

"To see Art of course." i shrugged.

"Join me and mom y/n." she start to drag me to mom.

"If You're here why didn’t you call us." Mom said in unpleased tone. Rose gave me apologetic look

"Would you care? You never did so what would changed if I? " I spoke my mind without thinking. But why would she give me attitude.

"Where are your manners, is that how you talk to your mother? " she said angrily, her face is red due to anger.

"Mom please." Rose pleaded

"Well I didn’t had a mother teaching me manners she was so busy ignoring my existence. Now excuse me. " I snarled and walk out of there I could hear Mom angrily saying things and Rose trying to calm her down and calling me at the same time.

I haven’t loose my calm in a very long time but in this situation I don’t know how I did but I don’t regret it actually. Before talking about my manners why don't she just look at herself. Why to give birth if aren’t taking the responsibility.

"What do you think is 'Kryos' worth the invest?" my uncle asked sipping his vanilla latte. After finishing the meeting we came a nearby cafe.

"Give me some time to calculate everything uncle. I'll give my response soon enough." I said as I eat my pastry.

"Take your time but think carefully." he warned.

We start to talk about random staff and continue eating.

Laying like a starfish on my hotels bedroom I'm thinking about the project. Actually It's a international project It's central theme is profit. They want to launch brand new affordable technology and schools in underdeveloped countries. They want to build their company branch their.  They already targeted five country where this will held. Surely it’s worth billion and the profit will be billion and will higher my company’s revenue but the fact is it will take three or four years and all my time and focus. I'll  have to be present their to work on those five country.

This will be my very first international project and all the changes about this project is not something I'm used to. My uncle has brought me here to check if I'll come over my comfort safe zone, take the very risk or I'll play safe.

It's like prove your worth because there's thousands people who can take your place or stay into your shell. It's really risky and honestly thinking I'm nervous about this one.

The companies who were invited to this project 'Kryos' will have to submit their report next month who is interested to do it and we will be giving presentation very next moment for it.

It's a golden opportunity to make your company worth billions and frame in worldwide. I know people will play dirty to get it they won't let go of a opportunity like this.

"So what you say 'Kryos' worth investing?" Uncle asked his dark gaze is trying to dominate me.

"Yes." I replied curtly holding his gaze

"You need board directors approve, what will happen to the company when you will go there for years?" he is making sure I've planned everything before taking this huge steps. Board directors are another headache. They'll strongly opposed I've to have better plan for this shit.

Oh uncle my evil mind has already plotted everything and you're the scapegoat hehe.

"Why are smirking creepily?" uncle frown and I smirk.

"This is indeed a splendid catch but what will happen if you will be gone for years?" asked Kim Rohen,Kim Taehyung's father. This proposal is so beneficial that even my father couldn’t protest. Surely they had problems with that how can a seventeen years old girl like me can do this but when I show them some part of my plan they couldn’t diny either.

"I'll be appointing Matt Hastings as the COO at my absence. And if any complicate issue happen Uncle Sean will take care of it. And will keel an eye here so I need approval so I can start to work on it." Here my card Matt Hastings who has been my uncle's secretary for maybe fifteen or thirteen years. Who could handle the company better than him when I'm absent. He has the best training under the Big Boss my uncle.

Everyone trust his capability. And no issue will rise under my uncle's watch. I can finally breath.

Uncle has already talk to Matt. My uncle has been sour since I put him on more work and not to mention took his favourite secretary. Well what can i say uncle I'm your niece after-all. Hehe.....

"The majority of board members approve please make a team and start work on it. It must be difficult you are already doing a joint project and now this but we have our trust on you miss y/n. All the best. " One of the board director miss Yun eun bi spoke on behalf of everyone which brought a smile on my face I politely thanked them.

I like this woman and she also like me very much. She is a hard working self-made independent  woman. She always supports me. And quite admire her actually.

I need to work faster on our joint project with Kim Taehyung fast.
