It was a new day and Sora again stood with her team that was meant to be training, but Senshi was again annoyed at Sora, though this was a daily occurrence so it didn't bother Sora anymore.

"We are being given a C-ranked mission tomorrow that will take us out of the village, can you at least act like a part of the team," Senshi snapped.

As much as Sora said it wasn't bothering her she was growing tired of the nagging. The concept of being on a team made Sora nauseous, she accepted it with the test and just got on with it because there really wasn't any other option. But now there was no reason for it. Being on a team meant you had to trust one another and put your life in their hands. Something Sora dreaded. She was fine during the test because they were just going against the Hokage someone she knew wouldn't genuinely wouldn't go out of his way to hurt them. But now that was different.

The second they left the village that would all be different. Anything could happen. If she left the village He might finally decide to take her back. She slightly shivered at the thought. She couldn't trust them to help her in that situation, nor would she want them to. They would just become casualties.

"Are you even listening?" Senshi snapped bringing Sora out of her thoughts.

"Not really, you just keep repeating what you've already said," Sora replied her voice dull.

"I wouldn't have to repeat myself if you just listened!" Senshi snapped.

Aisura stepped in front of Senshi trying to calm her down, not wanting to see this team crumble any more than it had.

"arguing won't help. But Senshi has a point, this may not be your first time outside the village but it is for us. And that's a big deal," Aisura said calmly.

Sora thought about her time outside the village and cringed. That was hell on earth.

"Can you please just try and work with us on this," Aisura asked.

It was hard to deal with Aisura because no matter how hard Sora looked she couldn't find any anger towards her in him. He was gentle and naive. Sora let out a sigh tired of this topic.

"It's not that simple," Sora said.

"why not?" Aisura asked hoping to get more elaboration.

"it's not you two, it would be like this with anyone. I don't do well with others, I'm better off working on my own. It's how it's always been," Sora said trying to find the right words.

"Oh really? So you would have been able to get the bells by yourself in the test," Senshi retorted.

This made Sora pause as she pondered the situation.

"well no, but as you can see I don't do well in team dynamics and it leads to fighting," Sora said.

"That's only because you are so stubborn," Senshi snapped.

It wasn't stubbornness it was self-preservation and fear that caused her to be like this.

"We worked well as a team during the test so what is different now?" Aisura questioned.

"it was just a test that required teamwork, there was no danger. I can train on my own, and a mission no matter the rank will always have some form of risk to it," Sora explained.

So it was the subject of trust again, which annoyed Senshi, why couldn't she just trust them? While Aisura was more understanding. Given her personality, it wasn't hard to discern something had happened to her that made her scared to trust anyone, so it would take time to gain the capacity to trust them.

"Can you just try and work as a team as best you can?" Aisura asked gently.

"I will try, but I can make no promises," Sora sighed growing tired of this back and forth, she would just try and placate them.

Tatsuo was glad they could finally get back to training. This team was a handful, and unfortunately, the two weren't wrong about Sora, she was the main issue at the moment. Not that he could blame her for that. It had only been two years since she left that place. That was sure to leave a lot of scars on anyone, let alone someone her age.

It was the next day and the team stood in front of the Hokage who was smiling while holding a scroll.

"You're mission is to go to the land of snow, and retrieve some books from an abandoned compound.

Sora tensed up when hearing they would be heading to the snow.

"Lord Hokage, how long will this mission take us?" Senshi questioned.

"what will take the most time is the travelling, it takes a week or two to get there you will probably only be there for two or three days to find what you need then, of course, coming back. So all together, probably three to four weeks," The Hokage explained.

This made Senshi tense up a bit as well. The two girls being tense didn't go unnoticed by the rest. But they decided not to touch on it.

"You will be leaving in two hours. Go get everything ready," The Hokage said.

Surprisingly Senshi was the first to leave in quite a rush confusing Sora.

"that's unlike her," Sora mumbed.

"Don't worry about it," Aisura said also wandering off.

Sora was the last genin there and she turned to look at the Hokage. Was he aware of her history with the snow? She never told him but if he was the Hokage it wouldn't have been hard for him to figure it out. He knew her clan's name so he could have easily tracked down her origins. If he did know then what was he planning with sending her back there?

"Is something the matter Sora?" He questioned.

"No," She said as she left the room.

He had done nothing to harm her yet so why would he be doing so now? It was perplexing.

Tatsuo was now left alone with the Hokage as he gave him a puzzled look.

"The abandoned compound you're sending us to, is it the Hisha clan's one?" Tatsuo asked.

"yes," Was all the Hokage said.

"if you need something from there why are you sending Sora of all people," Tatsuo said.

"All we know about her is that she was with Orochimaru, we no nothing about her time before that. Was she taken at birth, did she live in the compound? Why is she the only living Hisha? Did she have something to do with the destruction of her can or does she know something? These are all still mysteries to us. The best way to find these out is to send her there herself. Besides what I'm having you retrieve is for her benefit anyway," The Hokage explained.

Tatsuo nodded, The Hokage was right. She was their only link to the Hisha clan which was once a mighty and feared clan. The most powerful in the snow. But they suddenly were all killed in one night, Sora the only known survivor. But she had never told them anything. She gave them basic knowledge of Orochimaru but nothing else. She like her clan was a mystery. And that was dangerous.

Though sending her to the Hisha compound was in itself a risk. Who knew what could happen there?
