Sora headed towards where the first part of the chunin exam was being held, her stomach still feeling heavy. She met up with her teammates when walking there but stayed quiet not knowing what she wanted to do. They were chatting about the chunin exam.

"Why are you so quiet?" Aisura asked.

"No reason," Sora said dully not looking at them.

The two looked at her confused and worried. She seemed like what she was like when they first became a team cold and distant like she wanted nothing to do with them. Why was she acting like this again?

"You okay?" Aisura asked cautiously.

"Yep," Sora said bluntly.

She could see the look in their eyes, this hurt them but it was for the best. It would make it easier for everyone involved when she was taken away. They could let her go more easily and she wouldn't be so sad about losing them if she made them hate her again.

"Stop being like this. We are past this. So what the hell is wrong?" Senshi said getting irritated as she grew worried about Sora.

"It doesn't concern you," Sora said coldly speeding up and walking in front of them.

"She's trying to push us away. But why?" Senshi mumbled to Aisura.

"I don't know but we have to get to the bottom of it and not let her succeed," Aisura said looking at Sora.

They moved through the building getting to the third floor and entering the classroom. When they entered they were met with a large number of people. Sora looked around but stopped suddenly eyes meeting with familiar dark ones. Kabuto looked at her bringing his finger to her lips reminding her of his threats. She felt a shiver run down her spine becoming aware of her teammates behind her who were chattering away as she looked at Kabuto. If he was in the chunin exam who knew what was going to happen?

"You okay Sora?" Aisura asked.

"I'm fine," Sora said her voice harsh.

If she was going to prove she didn't care about them, in front of Kabuto was the best time.

"What 's up with you," Senshi said taken aback by Sora's sudden change in attitude.

"Nothing," Sora said coldly refusing to look at them.

The two looked at each other as they noticed the person she was looking at. The grey-haired boy with back eyes that were framed by glasses. He seemed to set her off more, exactly who was he? Sora continued to ignore them feeling bad at how she was acting, but she couldn't tell them anything even if she wanted to.

Team 12 walked up to them Amira went over to them immediately drawing the attention away from Sora's attitude. Hikari walked up a smug smile on her face as she looked at Sora.

"I'm surprised they let you in," Hikari said.

"I'm not in the mood Hikari," Sora said her voice cutting through the air like an ice knife.

Hikari tensed Sora had gotten mad many times but something was different now, scarier about Sora. Her eyes were icier than usual like she had completely given up.

"What the hell is wrong with you," Hikari snarled also picking up on the difference.

Sora didn't say anything as her eyes trained back to Kabuto who was smiling at her making her skin crawl. Sora simply walked away from the group.

"She's more touchy than usual," Hikari said.

"Then stop picking a fight with her," Senshi said.

"Whatever," Hikari said rolling her eyes.

"Why do you keep bothering her, we aren't in the academy anymore," Norio said joining the conversation which was unusual for him.

"She's just annoying. My parent always berated me because I wasn't able to use her properly and I'm not as strong as her," Hikari grumbled remembering their constant insults.

"That's not Sora's fault," Aisura sighed.

"But whenever I see her I can't help getting annoyed," Hikari grumbled.

Amira sighed, after being on Hikari's team she had learnt that she was moulded into being the way she was. Never receiving praise always being called weak by her family. There was a huge amount of pressure on her constantly and she was always compared to Sora the "outsider" as they put it. It didn't make her behaviour right but Amira came to understand her a bit more.

"Sora never had any ill will to you. If I remember correctly she really considered you a friend," Amira said.

Hikari sighed she knew that but she was tired of her parents constantly asking her how she was doing in using Sora. It left a bad taste in Hikari's mouth so she just put an end to it. But things only got worse and she found herself taking it out on Sora. Deep down she knew it was her parents' doing and had nothing to do with Sora but taking it out on Sora was the easiest way. She looked at Sora, something seemed really off about her, she only acted like that when Hikari hit soar spots but even this was different from that.

Sora sat off in a corner trying to quiet down her racing mind, she felt uncomfortable and on edge with Kabuto here. She could feel Kabtuo watching her and it made her skin crawl. She wanted to run away but she couldn't.

Shikamaru looked at Sora in the corner worried about her, after he found her yesterday she was different, but he had a feeling it was better to leave her at the moment, knowing she would probably lash out at him like she was with everyone else.

"What are you looking at Shikamaru," Ino asked as she followed his gaze to see Sora.

Ino smiled knowing what was happening. He acted indifferent to every female other than Sora. She gave Shikamaru a knowing smile.

"What?" Shikamaru asked noticing Ino's smile.

"Does our little Shikamaru have a crush," Ino cued.

"what a drag, no," Shikamaru said .

"He totally does. He used to bring lunch for Sora in the academy. He has had a crush on her for ages," Choji chimed in eating his chips.

Shikamaru looked at his teammates who were giving him knowing looks. He rolled his eyes at their antics, but he looked at Sora again still worried about her. What had happened?
