Two years have passed since Sora arrived in the leaf, it was a jarring change for her, not used to such a peaceful place. She laid down in the middle of a field watching clouds pass by and enjoying the silence of the early morning. That was until she looked up and turned to see the Hokage's faces wondering how far Naruto had gotten with his prank.

They were all defaced with paint and by now Naruto would be running around the village avoiding the people who were chasing him. But she was grateful for Naruto's tricks because she knew she could take her time with heading to the academy. Otherwise, she would have already been there.

She decided now would be a good time to get there. Once she got she was glad to see Iruka was gone, probably looking for Naruto. Sora walked into the class walking towards the back of the room.

"You're late Sora," a feminine voice said.

Her blue eyes turned to her side to see a young girl who sat at the end of the table three people on the other side of her.

"What's it to you Senshi?" Sora shot back more harshly than she intended.

The young girl's black eyes narrowed as she glared at Sora unwavering, the two next to her growing nervous at the growing tension between the two.

"I just thought the student of the Hokage would do better, even more so because the graduation test is tomorrow. But I guess I was wrong," She shot back.

"Sora please don't mind her, she's just grumpy in the morning," The young boy Aisura who sat in the middle said trying to calm the situation.

"Senshi doesn't mean anything by it," the girl Amira at the end said nervousness in her voice.

Sora had a reputation for being an uncaring person who was ruthless and cold to anyone around her, so it made sense these two were nervous about their friend's actions.

"I know what I've said and I mean every bit of it, you two don't need to backtrack for me," Senshi huffed.

Sora went to say something but stopped as Iruka barged through the classroom door dragging a tied-up Naruto behind him. She looked at Senshi one more time before quickly going to her seat that was behind them. She listened as Naruto was lectured until they were all made to do the transformation jutsu again, though Sora wasn't here for it to begin with. They all went to the front of the class doing the jutsu in front of Iruka. First up was Amira she smiled brightly as she transformed into Iruka gaining compliments. When finished she turned smiling at Shikamaru.

"did you see that Shika?" She said happily.

"What a drag," Shikamaru sighed.

She puffed out her cheeks before going back to her seat. Next was Aisura who looked nervous as he did it, though he successfully he immediately went back to his seat, meaning Senshi was next. She had a confident look on her face as she also did it transforming successfully. She was praised and as she went back to her seat she looked at Sora with a smug and challenging look on her face. Sora never understood why Senshi was like that.

Next up was Sora, she took a deep breath skilfully and effortlessly reforming the hand signs before transforming into a perfect version of Iruka, and she too was praised. She walked back to her seat to see Senshi looking at her annoyed.

Sora just ignored her focusing on the front of the class Sakura next. She transformed once finishing looking to Sasuke for praise but was ignored. Sasuke was up, transforming perfectly probably the only competition Sora had in this class to be number one other than Amira. Naruto was up next and Sora watched interested in what he would do. Naruto did indeed transform. But not the one that was wanted. Instead, he did his creation with his sexy jutsu. Sora sighed as he was given another lecture the class continued soon after.

Sora found herself becoming lost in thought as she looked out the window in thought. Her mind wandered becoming filled with doubt in herself. They wouldn't be graduating tomorrow, what if she wasn't good enough? What if she failed because she was an outsider? She was brought out of her thoughts when lunch came around and she heard snickering as a group of girls walked up to her desk.

"What do you want?" Sora asked her voice cold.

"Is that any way to treat your old friend?" the girl front and centre asked.

"You were never my friend. So, please go bother someone else," Sora said her voice dull.

The girl raised her hand preparing to slap Sora only for a voice to call out.

"If you lay a hand on her Hikari I'll lay ten on you," Senshi's voice called out.

Sora turned to see a fire in Senshi's eyes as she glared at the group of girls meaning the threat she gave.

"Mind your business Senshi. It's not like you like her, don't bother trying to gain favour with the Hokage through her, it doesn't work. She's useless in that sense," The girl groaned.

The only reason Hikari got close to her in the past was to use her, that's one of the reasons why Sora pushed everyone else away not wanting to feel that betrayal again.

"I don't give a damn about that. I don't need his favour to be the best unlike you," Senshi growled.

Sora let out a sigh of annoyance as she rose to her feet going to leave the classroom. But as she passed Hikari her wrist was grabbed and she was harshly pulled back making Sora freeze up at being suddenly touched.

"Where do you think you're going, I'm not done with you," Hikari scolded.

Sora's head snapped back her eyes narrowed and sharp. It felt as if the air around them became cold as Sora glared at Hikari as she pulled her hand away.

"Touch me again I dare you," Sora said her voice cutting through the air like an ice knife.

The girls were frozen in place. Sora quickly left the room holding her wrist as images of her mother flashed through her head. She found a quiet area outside sitting against the wall of the academy still holding onto a wrist her breaths shallow as she tried to calm down.

"Calm down, she's not here anymore," Sora mumbled to herself.

She was snapped out of her thoughts as water came crashing down on her. She looked up to the roof hearing girls laughing. She saw Hikari there holding a bucket laughing as they ran away. Sora looked down shaking in anger. She wasn't going to stay here to deal with this all day again. No way. So she left the academy for the day. Today would be her last day there anyway. Hopefully.
