Team 13 had gone back to individual training in preparation for the final part of the exam. Aisura was standing with Shiori.

"Just because you haven't moved on to the next part of the chunin exam doesn't mean you can stop training. So while your teammates are training for the next stage you will train for the next chunin exam," Shiori said.

"I understand," Aisura said with determination.

They stood on a field it had become obvious he needed more training. He had improved greatly but still not enough to get to the next stage, which made him more determined.

"Tell me Aisura why did you lose that battle?" Shiori questioned.

"Amira is stronger than me. But I also know that I didn't want to fight her so I held back," Aisura admitted.

Shiori nodded glad he was able to admit it. She knew that part of him probably wouldn't change but if he knew the weakness, that was good.

"your use of genjutsu was good in that fight, but you did something I told you not to. Don't infuse your chakra in your fists if you aren't certain you can get a hit. That is an extremely draining technique and it's not worth using if you can't get a good hit that can finish the battle," She explained.

He nodded. She had a long way to go with him. He had good potential, but she just had to polish it. She handed him a piece of paper confusing him she placed it between his fingers without any explanation, and she watched as it turned into earth.

"Your chakra nature is earth, to help increase your arsenal we will start with teaching you jutsu," She said.

"Shiori sensei I was wondering if we could also look at barriers and seals?" Aisura asked.

She looked at him, he was looking into things himself, finding what could work for him.

"In time of course but you aren't at that level yet," She said.

Aisra nodded getting excited for what was to come. Shiori started with a common earth jutsu, which is the earth wall. Aisura nodded as he began practising, they worked on it for a few hours, and Aisura got a pretty good handle on it. The fact he had such good chakra control made learning jutsu easier for him. Once he had a good handle on that she moved on to another one that was a bit more complicated. She would teach him a jutsu that turned the earth beneath someone's feet into quicksand.

This one took a bit longer for him to learn, it was more draining than the last one. But if he was able to use it well in a battle it could change the tide for him. He kept working diligently to master the jutsu he learnt.

A new day came and they were now in the training wing of the hospital Aisura looked over books with vials in front of him, today they were working on his poison. He only had one in his arsenal at the moment, that being a paralytic one that wore off after a few minutes. This was more his element as he read over the books being surrounded by ingredients. Shiori watched carefully poison seemed to be his preferred method along with genjutsu. If trained properly he could become a master.

He had a natural talent for it and it was something that could keep him away from the enemy. He just had to learn to use genjutsu more effectively in battle. She watched as he was trying to improve his current poison to make it faster acting and last longer. As he worked he looked up at Shiori.

"What do I do if I go up against someone resistant to poison?" He questioned.

"That's where your other training comes into play, it's why you learn multiple things so if one doesn't work you have other stuff to fall back on," Shiori explained.

He nodded going back to his work, he had to get better to cover where his teammates lacked. And to defend himself so they didn't have to focus on that.

"Just wait you two, I'll catch up before you know it," Aisura mumbled.

Senshi stood in front of Katsumi who looked at her seriously.

"What did you learn in that battle?" He questioned.

"I need to work on fighting against multiple targets at once," Senshi sighed.

"Good, also I think we can soon start working on your chakra nature," He said holding out a piece of paper.

He put it in her hand it becoming crinkled.

"Seems your chakra nature is lighting. Which is good, in my opinion, that is one of the best ones to infuse with taijutsu and kenjutsu, but that is gruling training," Katsumi said smiling.

"I'm ready for that," Senshi said smiling back at him.

"I like the enthusiasm, but we will see if you can back those words up," He said smiling.

The first step was mastering changing the form of her chakra the next changing nature and once she put them together she would be able to infuse her attacks with her lighting nature chakra. They began with her putting her chakra in her katana and making it sharp. Senshi struggled to do this.

it took her days of training to even start getting it to slightly work. All Katsumi could do at that stage was watch. But if she was able to learn this she would stand a lot better of a chance in the next stage. Besides this was the next step, her skill with the katana was already good. He could see how tired she became but she kept going never giving up despite how frustrated she got with it. She had become more patient with her training accepting it took time.

It took about a week for her to get a hang of it before moving on to the next step changing the nature of her chakra, and to learn that she would naturally be combining the change in shape and nature. He watched it backfiring many times causing injuries. But she got up again without fail smiling, the fact that it hurt meant something was happening she just had to control it.

With each day the lighting became more focused on her katana until she was finally able to hold it for two minutes before it disappeared or backfired on her plus if she had gone any longer she probably would have collapsed from exhaustion. She smiled at Katsumi who looked at her proud of her progress. It was far from perfect but he wasn't expecting it to become perfect in a month that would take a lot more time.

"Now you need to remember that this is draining on you, so use it sparingly and only when you know it will accomplish something. Also, it is good to keep this hidden until the right moment it being a good finishing blow," Katsumi explained.

She nodded continuing to refine it. She wanted to try infusing her taijutsu with it but Katsumi told her to get a hang of the katana first saying if it backfired when it was on her first or feet it could cause more damage. Sesnhi agreed understanding what he was getting at, and it was better to focus on mastering this first than dividing her attention on two different things.

She smiled to herself getting fired up for the next part of the exam. She wouldn't be beaten by that fool again, and if she was lucky she could get some answers out of him about this Orochimaru.
