A BLARING ALARM echoed through the Glade, signalling that a new Greenie plus more supplies would be arriving in less than a minute. Almost every boy stopped what they were doing and walked over towards the middle of the large field.Olivia had never once gone over to the box, she'd watch from afar as all the boys circled around, watching the new Greenie freak out. Olivia thought it was mean, she hated putting people in situations that would cause them to feel anything negative. So instead of being up in their face, she would wait until they seemed settled in to introduce herself.
She watched as everyone made their way to the middle of the glade, sighing when she heard distant laughter. She looked back at the fruit she was picking, inspecting each one as if it was the most interesting thing she'd ever seen.
She turned her head when everyone seemingly got louder, only to see the new guy running. She raised her eyebrows, seeing how long it would take for him to realise there was no where to go. He was fast, so fast that he tripped over his own feet, making everyone laugh at him. Olivia scoffed at the boys and quickly made her way over to the boy to make sure he was okay.
By the time she got to him, he was on his feet looking around. His back faced to her. "Hey, are you okay?" She said, making him turn around. The second he did, she felt all the colour from her face drain.
She recognised him, he was the boy she had been dreaming about since the night she arrived. She had no idea who he was, or why he was the only person she ever dreamt of, but she never thought that he would ever show up in the glade.
Before either of them could say anything, everyone came rushing over and started pushing him toward the makeshift cell they had built. Olivia couldn't pull her eyes away from him, she watched as he was shoved and locked in.
"Liv, can you help me get some of the stuff from the box?" Newt came up from behind her. "Yeah, sure." She didn't once stop looking in the direction of the mystery boy. Newt frowned, expecting her to turn around and look at him, "What's wrong?"
"You know the guy I always tell you about, the one in my dreams?" She pulled her eyes away to look at her best friend. "Yeah?" He dragged the word out, unsure of what she was getting at. "That's him." She pointed. "What? How? Is that even possible?" He scrunched his eyebrows together. "Apparently it is." She tried to swallow all the emotions she was feeling. She was extremely confused.
She wouldn't think that much of it if the dreams had only happened once or twice, but the dreams had been a reoccurring thing for over a year.
Newt hit her shoulder softly before walking towards Chuck, hoping she'd follow, which she did. "Hey, Chuck!" She softly smiled at the young boy. Ever since he had showed up in the box a month ago, the two had bonded and created a sibling-type relationship. "Come help us." She wrapped her arm around the boys shoulders.
