“Okay, Y/n-ie… I have something for you,” Jimin said, practically bouncing in place like an excited kid on Christmas morning. “You’re gonna love it, cupcake!”

I tilted my head, amused. “What is it, Chim?”

But instead of answering, he suddenly stepped behind me and slipped a blindfold over my eyes.

“Hey! What are you doing, bro?” I laughed, the soft fabric making the world go dark in front of me.

“Shh. Just trust me, will you? It’s a surprise,” he whispered near my ear. I could practically hear the grin in his voice.

Then something thin and smooth brushed against my fingers.

“Hold onto this stick,” he said, guiding it into my hand. “You take one end, I’ll hold the other. I can’t touch you—not now, not for this. Your touch might mess up my surprise.”

I let out a giggle, my curiosity piqued. “So dramatic.”

With Jimin leading me carefully, we walked together—me blindfolded, laughing under my breath as I stumbled once or twice while clinging to the guide stick like a child on a treasure hunt.

We stepped outside. The breeze hit my face, cool and scented faintly of gasoline and sunshine.

“Okay,” Jimin said, barely containing his excitement. “On the count of three… open your blindfold. Ready?”

I nodded, heart already racing.

“One... two—”

I didn’t wait for “three.” I yanked off the blindfold, impatient.

“Hey!” he groaned behind me. “Why do you always ruin the suspense?!”

But his voice faded out as I gasped, hands flying to my mouth.

In front of me stood a gorgeous brand new Kawasaki Z900, its metallic matte graphene steel gray body gleaming like starlight under the sun. The sleek design, the powerful stance—it was perfection on two wheels.

My heart thudded.

“Is that—? Is that a Z900?” I breathed, eyes wide.

Jimin grinned ear to ear. “Yup.”

I turned to him, still stunned. “Is it for me?”

He shrugged with a cheeky grin. “Well, unless you think someone else deserves it more…”

I let out a joyful squeal and jumped into his arms, nearly knocking him over as he caught me mid-giggle.

“I love it! Oh my god, it’s amazing!” I kissed his cheek. “You’re the best, Jimin. I love you, bro!”

“Love you too, cupcake,” he chuckled, eyes gleaming with happiness. “So… how about a ride on your brand new baby?”

I immediately nodded, barely able to contain my excitement.

“Then give me the key,” I said, holding my hand out in front of his face with mock seriousness.

He blinked. “What?”

“The key, genius.”

“Oh!” He laughed and dropped the key into my palm.

Grinning like a kid who just got the biggest candy in the store, I grabbed my helmet and straddled the bike. The engine purred beneath me like a beast awakening.

I adjusted the mirror and smirked at Jimin’s reflection.

“You better hold on tight, Chim. Or you might just fall in love with the wind.”
