“We need to leave this place before they find us and kill us,” a man in his mid-40s said urgently to his wife, his voice laced with fear and frustration.
“But our sons are still not home… We can’t leave them behind. We have to stay,” his wife replied, her voice trembling yet firm.
“Almost everyone has already left the village. It’s just us and maybe two or three others left. We need to hurry, Ju-won,” he insisted, running a hand through his disheveled hair and letting out a frustrated sigh.
“I don’t care,” the woman snapped, her eyes glistening with tears. “I won’t leave until my sons come back!”
“I’m going to find them. And you both—no matter what—do not step outside the house. Lock all the doors and windows. I’ll be quick. Once I bring them back, we’ll leave this place for somewhere safe,” the man said with determination, turning to his wife and their 17-year-old daughter.
Just as he reached for the doorknob, the front door suddenly burst open with a loud bang, revealing two breathless nineteen-year-old boys. Fear was etched deep into their pale faces, and their bodies trembled uncontrollably.
“Th-the-they killed her… They killed that woman,” Jungkook stammered, his eyes wide with horror. “She was screaming in pain, but they didn’t care… They fucking ate her.”
“Jungkook, stop panicking, my son. Calm yourself. This is not the time to lose your wits,” Ju-won said, grabbing his son by the shoulders and trying to ground him.
“Brother… I’m scared,” the 17-year-old girl whispered, her voice shaking as she rushed to her brother and buried her face in his chest. “I don’t wanna die.”
“Nothing will happen to you, Bora. I’m here… Your TaeTae is here to save you,” Taehyung whispered, gently caressing her hair in an effort to soothe her.
“Okay then,” Ju-won said, tightening his grip on the situation, “let’s leave before they come after us. And one more thing—no matter what happens, nobody stops running.”
With that, he reached for his wife’s hand, gripping it tightly as they prepared to escape the nightmare unfolding around them.

“W-Wait, brother… I can’t run anymore…” Bora gasped, her voice strained and breathless. Her legs trembled beneath her, and her chest heaved as she clutched her side, trying to breathe. Fifteen minutes of nonstop running through thick woods had drained every ounce of strength from her small body.
“No, Bora! It’s not safe here. Don’t stop running—we can’t stop!” Taehyung shouted, glancing back at her as he pushed ahead, feet pounding the forest floor. The panic in his voice sliced through the dark like a blade.
“Just… just a minute…” she panted, bending down to catch her breath. Her heart hammered like a war drum in her chest.
But that one minute… was the biggest mistake of her life.
The ground quaked with a growl—low, feral, and inhuman.
Before she could lift her head, it was too late.
A monstrous wolf, with fur like shadows and golden-red eyes burning with hunger, lunged from the darkness and pounced.
A scream tore through the woods—a blood-curdling, soul-shattering sound—and then… silence.
It ripped her apart.
“Tae—BORA!!” Taehyung’s voice cracked as he turned and saw the horror unfold. His eyes widened in disbelief, and with a broken cry, he bolted toward her—but strong arms grabbed him, pulling him back.
