The baby stopped crying a few minutes later, and Snape sighed before placing it in the crib, walking over to the couch, and sinking into it.

"Sit down, Potter," Snape said, not looking at him. When Harry sat down, Snape ran his hand through his hair and sank onto the couch.

They were quiet for a while before Harry heard soft snoring, turning to Snape and noticing that the man had fallen asleep.

Looking closer, he saw the heavy bags under the man's eyes. Sighing, Harry stood and gently laid Snape on the couch before removing his shoes and moving to the armchair opposite Snape. He sat for a few minutes, lost in thought, till a soft whimper came from the corner, and Harry quickly stood.

He walked over to the got and looked down at the baby, who had tears running down his cheeks.

"Hey," Harry said softly, reaching in and gently picking up the baby. He gently bounced the baby, trying to calm it down.

He walked around the room and desperately tried to soothe the baby. Snape groaned on the couch, and Harry froze. He quickly put a silencing charm around the man, wanting him to get some rest.

He got the baby to settle down and in the armchair. He reclined it, lying the baby on his chest, and gently rubbed his back.

"Such a good babe," Harry whispered as the baby slowly went back to sleep.

Harry closed his eyes for a second.

When Harry opened his eyes again, there was sunlight coming from the window in the living room. He rubbed his eyes and gasped, realizing he wasn't holding a baby.

Jumping up, he quickly looked around the room to see Snape standing in the doorway to what looked like the kitchen, holding the baby. Sighing, Harry sank back into the armchair in relief.

"Potter, thank you for last night," The man said, not looking at him as he held the baby in his arms.

"It was nothing, professor," Harry said, looking at the man warily.

"Look, I know you have questions; just let me feed Skye before he gets grumpy," Severus said, heading back into the kitchen.

A few minutes later, he came out with a bottle and sat on the sofa across from Harry. He positioned Skye in his arms before bringing the bottle to his lips. The baby gripped the bottle and started to drink.

"Skye...um, he's my son," Snape said, and Harry's jaw dropped. "Don't look so surprised, Potter." He huffed, and Harry shut his mouth.

"Um, where is his mother?" He hesitantly asked.

"He doesn't have a mother; he has a father and a bearer, which is me," Snape said, and Harry spluttered.

"Then, where is his dad?" Harry asked, watching as Skye finished the bottle. Snape conjured up a puke cloth, placed the baby on his shoulder, and patted his back.

"No clue, left when I told him," Severus said, and Harry stared at him in shock.

"Left? Like you were dating, and he left when you told him you were pregnant?" Harry exclaimed angrily, standing up.

"Yes, and you can show yourself to the door while standing. It is Saturday, and I would like my weekend to be student-free," Snape said, and Harry blinked a few times before slowly making his way to the door.
