Draco, Ron, and Harry made their way down the castle halls. Ron and Draco had made peace with each other now that Harry was friends with them both. Harry and Ron had grown close once more; they were hanging out like they used to, and Ron was now an official Uncle to Skye.

"Harry," A feminine voice called, and the three looked back to see Hermione and Ginny walking towards them.

Ron shrank to the back of the group, and Harry scowled. "What do you want?" he asked as the two females approached.

"We wanted to warn you," Hermonie said. Her eyes narrowed as they flicked to Ron, who avoided looking at her. "Certain companies you are in right now will bring shame," Harry huffed.

"I'm certain you will," Harry said, and Hermione balked.

"She meant him," Ginny shouted, pointing her finger at Ron. "That faggot may not have told you, but he was disowned for being a faggot," She hissed and glared at the red-headed male.

"I am aware of his circumstances," Harry said. "And if you continue speaking of him in such a manner, I will see to it that you are dealt with," he said before turning and going down the hall, pulling Ron with him.

"Don't mind them, Ron," Draco said as they entered Severus's room. "They just want attention to make them feel like they are something they are not," He said, and Ron nodded before going over and slumping onto the couch.

Suddenly, the door opened from the nursery, and Severus marched in, clutching a piece of parchment. He paused when he saw the three and quickly put the parchment in his pocket. "I thought you three were going to be studying in the library," He said, and Harry frowned.

He walked over to Severus and took Skye from him, handing the baby to Draco; he took Severus's Hand and pulled him back into the nursery. "What's wrong?" He asked, sitting in the rocking chairs and pulling Severus into his lap.

"Nothing," Severus said, placing his chin on Harry's head. When Harry said nothing, the older man sighed. "I received a letter from the ministry, and I have to take Skye to them in three days," He said, and Harry lifted his hand on Severus' hair and gently pulled his head back to see his face.

"Why?" He asked, even though he had a feeling he already knew why.

"Alexander filed a report that I was mistreating him and working for the dark lord; he wants to use his rights as his father to remove him from a potentially dangerous situation. The ministry also informed Dumbledore," He said, and Harry stiffened.

"Fuck," Harry swore, "That means we will have to leave before Dumbledore has time to come down here," He said, and Snape nodded.

"I packed most of Skye's things and sent them through the floo. I was going to drop him off at Lucius and then come back for you," Severus said, standing from Harry's lap. He said just as Draco and Ron came into the room.

"Someone is knocking at the door," Draco said, and Harry jumped up. He waved his wand, and everything in the room shrunk and flew into the open trunk that Severus was already packing.

"Draco, take Skye to your father; Ron, take the trunk," he said, reaching into Severus's pocket and pulling out the letter he had received from the ministry. "Give this to Tom," he said, and the two quickly did as they were told.

"Let's get this over with them. I can pack the rest of my stuff and get out of here," Severus said as he went into the living room and opened the door to the hall to reveal Dumbledore standing there.

Harry moved to the corner of the living room where Skye's cot normally was and stood there, not hiding but not showing himself. "Severus, I received a rather concerning letter from the Ministry a few minutes ago," He said, and Harry could see Severus stiffen.

"I am aware," The potion master said.

"Where is the baby, Severus? We are in the middle of a war, and you go and get yourself knocked up by a Malfoy, of all people," The atrociously dressed man said with disgust, and Harry's eyes narrowed.

"My child is safe; he is with his Godparent," Snape said, and Dumbledore huffed.

"You need to give the child to its father, focus on doing the right thing for the wizarding world, and win this war against the dark lord," The old goat said, and Harry gritted his teeth.

"I don't care about winning this dumb war; I am focusing on the important thing, which is taking care of my family," Severus snarked, glaring at Dumbledore.

"I see your views have changed, and you wouldn't be doing this the easy way," Dumbledore said before quickly pulling out his wand and pointing it at Severus.

Harry wasted no time reacting. He shot a binding spell at Dumbledore. "Is that how you do things, headmaster?" he asked. "Using magic against people to force them to do things your way?" he asked as he moved to stand by Severus's side.

DUmbledore's eyes widened as he looked at Harry. "Harry, my boy," The man gritted out as the binds tightened around him. "That baby is going to hinder our progress in this war," He tried to convince him.

"How? It's a baby; how can a baby have anything to do with a war," Harry said, taking a step closer to Dumbledore, "You convinced the world when I was a baby that I was the key to this war, which is ridiculous, and they believed you. And now you're trying to convince a parent that his baby will do what to the war exactly? Turn up on the battlefield and pull a stunt that will make the wizarding world suffer even more than it already is?" He asked, pulling the binds tighter around Dumbledore.

"Harry, why are you taking his side? You hate this man," Dumbledore tried again, "He has been nothing but cruel to you since you started this school," He said, and out of the corner of his eyes, Harry saw Snape look over at him and shrink into himself a bit.

"People change, Dumbledore. Besides, what kind of man would I be if I didn't defend the people I love against psychopaths?" He asked, and Snape perked up at the statement. "Now, If you'll excuse us, we got some things to take care of," He said before opening the door and throwing Dumbledore out in the hall, still bonded.

"Harry," Severus said, walking up to him, but Harry kissed him quickly before pulling away.

"Not now; we have fifteen minutes before he's free. Let's pack everything and get out of here," He said Before calling Dobby and asking him to bring his stuff from the dorms.

Twenty minutes later, when the door flew open to reveal an angry Dumbledore, the place was empty.
