Harry woke up the following day feeling sluggish and a bit grumpy. He climbed out of bed and went to the living room, spotting Severus sleeping on the couch. Walking over, Harry gently ran his hand through Severus's hair. Skye whimpered in his cot, and Harry went to the kitchen quickly, made a bottle, and returned to Skye; he gently picked the baby up and sat in the armchair to feed him.

Skye had just finished his bottle when Severus sat up on the couch. He stretched his arms and stood. He walked over to the cot and looked in it before making his way to Skye's room and entering. A few seconds later, he rushed out and looked over at Harry. He sighed.

"You should be resting," Severus said as he returned to the couch and sat down.

"I feel fine," Harry said; he finished feeding Skye and burped him. Harry placed Skye on the play mat in front of the couch, where the coffee table was pushed to the side to make a large space for Skye to play and crawl around in the area that Severus warded off for him.

Harry went to the couch and sat by Severus. He sat close, pressing as close as possible before Severus looked at him through the corner of his eye. Harry looked up at him innocently, and Severus huffed before lifting his arm and placing it around the younger.

"Do you have plans for today?" Harry asked softly, and Severus shook his head.

"No, I plan on getting my lessons for the week together, and I know you still have homework to be done," he said, and Harry groaned. "It's already late; I'll make some food, and then we can work for a while," he said as he pulled away and stood.

Harry grabbed Severus's hand and pulled him back to the couch before quickly cupping his cheeks and kissing him. Severus let out a surprised gasp, giving Harry more access to his mouth. "H-harry," Severus moaned as the other pulled away and kissed down his neck.

"Yes," Harry said, looking up at him with hooded green eyes.

"We have work to do, and you need to eat," Severus said as he pushed a pouting Harry off him, rolling his eyes. Severus placed a finger under Harry's chin and lifted his face. "If you finish all your homework today and let me work peacefully, we can do more of...that," He said, receiving a grin before he stood and went into the kitchen to make a late breakfast for the both of them.

They worked silently for the rest of the day, and each took turns feeding and soothing Skye whenever he called for attention. Harry sits on the floor with Skye in his arms, staring blankly into the fire.

Severus finished his work, placed the last piece of paper down, and looked at Harry, who hadn't noticed Skye had puked on his shirt. Standing, he walked over to Harry kneeling before him. "What has your mind so occupied?" He asked gently as he took Skye from Harry and spelled his shirt clean.

"Huh, oh, I'm just thinking about going back to my relatives for Yule in a week; I hate it there," Harry said, and Severus frowned.

"What do you mean? I thought they treated you like a spoiled prince, or is that not enough for you?" Severus huffed, and Harry's eyes widened as he turned to stare at him.

"Treated like a prince? Who gave you that information?" He gritted out.

"Dumbledore, he said your relatives were spoiling you silly," Severus said, and Harry laughed dryly.

"Right, Dumbledore. I forgot you were just one of his mindless minions who follow and believe every word he says, worshiping the ground he walks on, even when he left me with abusive people," Harry huffed as he stood, made his way over to the coffee table, and started to gather his homework.

Standing, Severus placed Skye in the cot before asking Harry, "What are you doing?" He asked.

"I promised Hermione and Ron I'd meet them for dinner," Harry said, putting his last parchment in his bag and heading towards the door.

"Will you come back after so we can talk about this?" Severus asked as Harry opened the door. The younger man paused but said nothing before closing the door.

Severus sank onto the couch, running his hand through his hair as he thought about Harry's words.
