A young woman lays still in her bed. Her eyes are half-lidded and exhausted while her hands begin to feel icy. Her hair is messy, and her face is soaked in cold sweat while she pants slowly. Her eyes go from her husband to the ceiling back and forth.

She is dying.

"My love please you need to hold on," her husband whimpers but she knows too well what is to come. She can feel her soul begin to leave her body and her vision is slowly starting to blur but, in the end, it is all worth it. Her daughter's cries fill the room as her husband holds her in a warm blue blanket. Winter is here, and her daughter has just been born. A prickling sensation suddenly begins to engulf her body as thorns evade her, not allowing her to see her husband or daughter anymore.

And in a second, she is gone with only a wilted rose laying on the floor.
