She had hoped to be able to go to the party, she'd really wanted to see them today.

Unfortunately she'd promised to join Mk and Sandy, something about finding some new training.
She didn't think it'd last as long as it did, had she known she wouldn't have gone especially knowing what she knows now, it was, he's still probably playing that game right now.

But by the time she decided to leave it was already late and the party was most likely over, but maybe she could just swing by and say hi? Hopefully get to hang out for a bit. Although she's not sure if she should intrude. (She could probably find some excuse for it though)

From what she could tell she'd arrived right at the end. All the teens were all playing games now, as one by one they started to leave.

She was going to come in and say hi but didn't when she spotted them hanging out with the kids, laughing along with them and smiling as they played with them.

They rarely smiled often having a rather neutral look on their face as they watched everything around them happen, she sometimes wondered what when on in their head but hoped with time they'd eventually open up more.

And so far they've talked a bit about their previous home life so it's progress, slow but it's still good progress.

Knowing now that they could be so happy made her want to see it more, to be happy with her.

She shook her head at the corny thought.

Then again why would she feel embarrassed about something she truly thought.

Where was the harm in that?
