You watched from upside down as the demoness was doing some spell on the cauldron, thats what you're assuming at least since as she stayed focused on whatever it was she was doing.

Staying quiet you waited for her to finish her thing, looking around the room in boredom as you looked at anything midly interesting that was happening, which was nothing.

Letting out a huff you turned your attention back to her right as she finished her spell.

"What is it?" She said suddenly looking right at you.

You turned yourself around so that you were now right side up as you started to talk to her.

"I simply had a question, as your henchman refuses to give me an answer." She raised a brow at that.

"And what would that question be?"

You floated closer but stayed higher up as you looked up at the armor that floated above the cauldron, chained down until the last two items were found.

"What are you actually trying to do?" You said looking down at her before continuing.

"It's rather obvious that helping the Spider Queen is far from your actual goal. Besides it's not like I can tell anyone else." You stated which resulted in her raising a brow at you before rolling her eyes.

"Very well then, if you are so keen on knowing what the weapon's true destiny is, I shall indulge your little inquiry." She said much to your surprise, aswell as peaking your curiosity.

She looked back up at the armor before continuing what she was going to say.

"The weapon you see above shall aid in my goal to rid this world of all its impurities once and for all." Huh, that... was not what you expected.

"And what would those impurities be..?" You questioned raising a brow as you were awaiting something sinister as an answer.

"The wars that causes nothing but suffering, the corruption that bleeds through every civilisation, the celestial beings who sit and watch despite having the ability to aid the mortals realm." And so much more but she left it at that.

You stared, trying to figuring out if she was messing with you or being genuine, by the way she looked at the weapon and spoke with no hesitation made you think she was.

"That sounds like an impossible dream come true." You said looking up at the weapon yourself.

A world without cruelty and pain sounded great, was such a feat even possible however?

"As amazing of a wish that is, how will this help?" You questioned pointing to it as you looked down at her.

"It's rather simple." She started a genuine smile growing on her face as she spoke.

"I've learnt that this world is too far gone, so I shall remake it, a clean slate where suffering, cruelty and pain is no more."

"And what exactly does remaking it mean?" You asked now back to being suspicious of her true plan.

"To cleanse everything I must erase everything that exists, this world is far too gone now."

Aaaand that's why you were suspicious.

"Well I agreed with everything up until you said that." You blankly stated as she just looked unimpressed with your opinion.

"I wouldn't expect you to understand." She said a small scoff to come out her mouth making you cross your arms in annoyance.

"Please, I've seen my fair share of things on earth to know." You stated plainly as you glared back at her.

You know first hand how vile humans can be, how cruel earth is, you've seen it happen over, and over so many times.

"Despite all your true statements, punishing the innocents and those who did nothing isn't something I agree with."

She said nothing at first seeming to think about your comment.

"With all the bad there is whether or not you want to acknowledge it, there is good in this world."

"I did not ask to be lectured. Nor did I ask for your input on the matter, I've been around far longer to see the cycle repeat itself. The destiny of this world has already been laid out and is on course to its completion."

"Then why keep me alive?"

She looked back at you raising a brow.

"If your goal is to end everything that exists in the end, why don't you just get rid of me now?"

"I have my reasons." She said turning to look away.

"Fine. Keep your secrets then." You said a scowl on your face as you made your way to leave stopping for a moment to look her way.

"I may not be as old as you but trust me when I say I know how wretched humans can be."

The Lady bone demon listened to them as they left, turning around to look at the empty space of wall.

She knew that they wouldn't have understood the true goal behind the weapon's destiny, seeing it as insane and evil but truly it was mercy.

With its power she could finally finish what she'd set out to for so long, and finally would this world truly be perfect.

They were simply human, of course they would still cling to their old life and sympathise with other mortals.

Although

It was curious to hear the choice of word they'd used, and how much hatred was behind their words as they spoke.

"I may not be as old as you but trust me when I say I know how wretched humans can be."

Curious.

Perhaps she could be the one to ask the questions the next they meet.
