❝ And I want to be pinned
Between him and the mattress,
Like a flower pressed in a book.
And I want to say his name,
Over and over,
Like it's the only word
written on the pages. ❞

Felix's POV:-

"Woah, you got a boyfriend?" Alex asked with a smirk.

"Boyfriend? Nah, not even close," I replied with a chuckle, handing Alex the money for whatever he was selling me today. The question caught me off guard but honestly.. just the thought of it made me feel warm.

Hyunjin had just left, and I couldn't resist stopping by the back alley where the local dealers hung out. Alex was one of the regulars I trusted.

Alex raised an eyebrow, a knowing smirk playing on his lips. "Sure didn't look like you needed one with the way that guy was looking at you," he commented, counting the bills I gave him.

I shrugged, trying to downplay Hyunjin's significance. "He's just... someone I know," I said vaguely, not wanting to delve into the complexities of my relationship with Hyunjin, whatever it was.

Alex chuckled, handing me the goods in exchange for the money.

"You need to ease up on asking for the heavy stuff. Even though I'm a dealer and the strong ones fetch a good price, I'd rather not sell you those," Alex advised, his tone serious as he glanced around cautiously.

I frowned, feeling a mixture of curiosity and frustration. "But why not?" I pressed, tucking the goods away in my bag discreetly.

Alex sighed, his expression troubled. "Look, Felix, I've known you for a while, and I've seen how you've been struggling lately. Selling you the strong stuff won't do you any favours. It's not just about the money; it's about looking out for your well-being too as now I see you as a friend."

I shifted uncomfortably, feeling a pang of guilt. "I know, I know," I muttered, avoiding his gaze. "But sometimes, I just need something to take the edge off, you know?"

"Yeah, I get it," Alex replied sympathetically, his tone softening. "But there are other ways to cope, ways that won't land you in trouble or put your health at risk."

I nodded, acknowledging his point even though I wasn't entirely convinced. "Thanks, Alex," I said sincerely, reaching out to pat his shoulder. "I'll try to be more careful."

He gave me a small smile, his eyes reflecting genuine concern. "Take care of yourself, Felix. And remember, I'm here if you ever need someone to talk to."

With a nod of gratitude, I turned to leave, the weight of his words lingering in my mind as I made my way back to university.

As I made my way to my first lecture class, my mind was a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts and emotions.

Despite my best efforts to focus, I found myself distracted, my thoughts drifting back to Hyunjin and the enigmatic hold he seemed to have over me. The memory of his touch lingered, sending a shiver down my spine even now.

As I finally reached the lecture hall and took my seat, I decided to push aside the distractions and focus on the lesson ahead. With a deep breath, I opened my notebook, ready to immerse myself in the world of academia, if only for a brief respite from the chaos of my thoughts.

"Good morning, Lix," Jisung greeted as he took a seat beside me, his voice breaking through my concentration. "Morning," I replied, trying to focus on the notes in front of me.
