❝ Heartless,
yet so full of feelings. ❞

Hyunjin's POV:-

"Oh God, why does it feel so weird to have you in my room?" Felix muttered, hiding his face in his hands. "Weren't you the one who told your mother that we're going to your room and made me come here?" I asked with a chuckle as I settled onto his queen-sized bed.

"Yeah, but it was because she kept bombarding you with questions," he replied as he removed his hands from his face and opened the window. "Aww, was someone worried about me?" I teased.

"Shut up, no. Anyways, I thought you had work to do? Aren't you going to leave?" he asked, trying to change the subject. "Really? Want me to leave this soon?" I countered with a smirk.

Glancing around his room, I noticed his gaming setup taking up a corner, with a sleek computer and multiple screens. Stacks of books lined the shelves, ranging from fantasy novels to textbooks. Plushies of various shapes and sizes adorned his bed, giving the room a cozy vibe. The walls were decorated with posters of his favorite video games and anime characters, adding a touch of his personality to the space.

He rolled his eyes, but a faint smile played on his lips. "You know you're welcome to stay if you want," he said, avoiding eye contact.

"Aren't you becoming such a good boy angel?" I said with a teasing tone. "There was this guy who kept telling me to be a good boy or else he had this thing for choking where he would choke me till I die," he spoke with a grin on his face.

I raised an eyebrow, trying to suppress a laugh.

He shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Hey, you asked for it," he said, turning to his computer screen with a smirk. "Would you like to play some games?" He asked. I nodded as I got up from the the bed and sat on the chair next to his.

He opened the computer and began navigating through his favourite games and programs. "I've never played computer games in my life," I confessed, feeling a bit out of place in his gaming-centric environment. He paused and glanced at me, a hint of understanding in his eyes. "No wa- you know what, that's quite expected," he said, his tone lightening as he seemed to realize the difference in our upbringings.

As someone who had grown up in a completely different atmosphere, everything in Felix's house felt foreign to me. The way they talked and laughed freely during dinner, a stark contrast to the formal and reserved atmosphere of my own home. His mother's playful teasing, a gesture of affection that I rarely witnessed in my own family. And then there was his bedroom, a colorful and vibrant reflection of his personality, filled with posters, books, and plushies - a stark contrast to my own minimalist and monochrome living space.

He handed me the gaming console, and as I held it, I couldn't help but reflect on when was the last time I felt nervous. I realized that I rarely experienced such emotions, but the more time I spent with him, the more he seemed to break down my walls. It was a strange feeling.

There's only one word for these feelings:
"pathetic."

As Felix guided my hands to the buttons of the console, I couldn't help but feel a rush of weird feeling coursing through me. His touch was gentle yet firm, his fingers lingering on mine for just a moment longer than necessary.

"Perfect," he said, his voice soft yet filled with warmth. "Now, we'll start with something easy." As he began the game and gave me instructions, I couldn't tear my gaze away from his face, mesmerized by the way his eyes sparkled.
