Felix's POV :-

"I don’t understand any of this lockdown stuff, and you never explained it to me," I said as I settled into Seungmin's car.

"Well, we’ve never had to deal with a situation like this before," he replied, starting the engine. "And there’s not much to understand. It’s just about staying put in one location until they’re sure the threats have lost track of you."

After the meeting, I’d had my performance at the club and asked Seungmin to pick me up. "Mrs. Hwang said I need to stay with them during this period, Seungmo," I said, my gaze fixed on the passing city lights outside the window.

Seungmin nodded, glancing at me briefly. "I get why she wants you to stay with them. You were there during the attack, so there's a risk that the attackers might try to come after you as well."

"She’s as intimidating as you warned me," I said, as Seungmin chuckled softly.

"I thought I was the most scared, but then I looked around and saw that Hyunjin and Jisung were even more tense," I added with a slight laughter.

Seungmin raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing at his lips. "I wonder how you didn’t pee your pants."

I groaned in mock exasperation. "Shut the fuck up," I muttered, and Seungmin laughed heartily.

Seungmin’s laughter echoed through the car, and I couldn’t help but smile despite the tension earlier. The familiar sound was a comfort amidst the chaos.

"Seriously though," Seungmin said, his tone turning serious, "I still find everything quite suspicious, Lix. Even if you’re staying with them temporarily, keep your eyes and ears open. Don’t get too caught up in your crush on that ferret."

"Right. Hyunjin," I said, turning to face him fully. "I need to tell you something more interesting."

Seungmin raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "Go ahead."

"We kissed," I said, screaming slightly as Seungmin slammed on the brakes. The sudden stop made me jolt forward, my head hitting the headboard with a dull thud.

"Wait, what?" Seungmin exclaimed, eyes wide in shock. "You kissed him? Are you serious?"

I rubbed my head, wincing. "Yeah, I’m serious."

Seungmin raised his hands in mock surrender. "Okay, for the next five minutes, you keep your mouth shut. We'll drive in silence, and then when we reach your place, you’ll tell me everything."

With a thumbs-up and a laugh, I nodded.

When we finally arrived at my home, I grabbed my bag from the backseat. Seungmin followed me to the door, his curiosity evident despite his attempts to remain stoic.

I knocked twice, and my mother answered almost immediately. Her face lit up with a welcoming smile.

"Honey! You’re home," she said, her gaze shifting to Seungmin. "And Seungmin, how nice to see you. Come in, both of you."

I offered a small smile and followed her inside, Seungmin trailing behind me. As we entered the living room and made our way to my room upstairs, my mother made her way to the kitchen, presumably to prepare something for us.

"Mom, you don't have to make anything! We both had dinner already," I called out, trying to stop her from making extra work.

"Okay, make yourself comfortable Seungmin.. If you both still need anything I'm here," she replied, her tone dismissive but warm.
