AT LAST

Wednesday, April 21st, 1980

With the Busan train station bathed in morning light, Lisa looked elegant in a white blouse and blue jeans, accessories with a form-fitting brown coat.

Her brown hair gave off a sophisticated vibe when it was pulled back into a low ponytail.

With her bag in hand, she waited patiently for the arrival of the train.

As Lisa settled into her seat by the window, she retrieved her journal from her bag and began to jot down her thoughts.

Lost in her writing, her mind wandered to Jeongguk, and she felt a pang of longing for him.

She realized she had been so preoccupied with nature during the camping trip that she forgot to write him a letter.

The train chugged along the tracks, Lisa turned her attention to the window, watching the scenery blur past.

Jeongguk walked along the pavement, his gaze fixed on the small piece of paper Lisa had given him two days ago.

As he searched for her address, he noticed a woman stepping out of the apartment building, carrying a bag of trash.

Taking the opportunity, Jeongguk approached her. "Excuse me," he said politely.

The woman turned to him, her expression curious. "Yes, may I help you?" she asked.

"I was wondering if a woman named Lisa Jung lives here," Jeongguk inquired.

The woman nodded. "Yes, she does. I'm her maid. Can I ask why you're looking for her?" she inquired.

Judging by the location, he assumed her living situation was quite luxurious.

"I'm trying to confirm her address. She gave it to me, and I wanted to make sure it was correct. Is she home?" Jeongguk explained.

Mrs. Lee shook her head. "I'm sorry, but Ms. Lisa isn't here at the moment. She's on a camping trip in Busan for three days, so she won't be back until then," she informed him.

Jeongguk felt a pang of disappointment at the news. "I see. Thank you for letting me know," he replied politely.

Mrs. Lee nodded. "Of course. Is there anything else I can assist you with?"

Jeongguk shook his head. "No, that's all. Thank you again," he said, turning to leave.

As he walked away, Jeongguk couldn't shake the feeling of longing to see Lisa again.

He tucked the address back into his pocket, resolving to visit her once she returned from her trip.

Now, he had to make his way back to the train station because his journey to Lisa's apartment required train travel to avoid traffic jammed.
