"Ned."
She said in a stern tone, scolding the lord as if he was a young child, her role as a mother fading into every aspect of her life.
"Ten is too young to see such things."
Again she pleaded, wanting to protect her son's innocence for just a day longer, but she would not get her wish that she knew but she wished anyways.
"He won't be a boy forever. And winter is coming."

He left her to watch the two older boys clean up after their younger brother and Her eye's met brown ones, the eyes of Jon Snow, her heart reached her face and the look in her eyes hardened upon the sight of him. Jon looked to the ground in shame, returning to picking up arrows and other items that had been discarded along the ground.
