Momo and Izuku walked in silence as she lead him through the hallways of the school.  The classes had all been let out early after what had happened to 1-A so there was no noise beside the sound of there footsteps as they walked.  Momo had not let go of his hand as she guided him around a few corners out into the open air and onto a path that led to so large buildings in the distance.

"I missed you," She finally said quietly after stopping and turning to him, they were alone in the shade of a tree next to the path. "I know that you remember our relationship and that makes me happy but how does this make you feel, really?"

Izuku met her eyes and saw the uncertainty and doubt in them, "Its strange, from the moment I started to gain some memories of you i felt like something was missing.  And now that im with you again that feeling disappeared.  I may not remember our entire life but i do remember that you were so ingrained in it that not having you by me, even unknowingly, made me feel like something was wrong." He said, her eyes where now shining with unshed tears a smile playing on her face and a blush on her cheeks. "So I guess, it feels right." 

She pulled him in for a hug again and then gently kissed his cheek, "I'm glad you feel the same as I do zuzu." 

"So this is what you two have been keeping from me for so long," a voice called out.  They both turned to see the smirking face of their friend Jiro. "I knew you guys were gona end up together eventually I just don't know how i didn't see it before."  She than ran up and hugged Izuku. "I missed you moptop." she said quietly.

Izuku felt the tears sink into his shirt and just held her tighter. "I'm sorry that i left for so long songbird," he said not knowing where the nickname came from.

Jiro looked up at him with a smile at the nickname, "Ok so come clean with me how much do you remember for real cause its obviously more than nothing if you remember your relationship with Momo.  Which we will talk all about how  you didnt tell me later once i tell mina and get her to tease you both for it." She said with an evil grin.

Momo blushed at that and chuckled slightly, "Dealing with Mina is something I can deal with if it means I get to have my Zuzu back." 

Jiro raised her eyes at that before turning to Midoriya, "Ok so spill mop top." she said expectantly.

So he told her all about how he remembered his relationship with Momo and bits and pieces of other things. "I remember your face and know that we were close but I don't remember the things we did together or bonded over, if that makes sense?"  he said sheepishly. 

She looked saddened at that but that spoke up "I get it, oh well guess I can just reuse all my old jokes and nicknames then." She teased, her voice. tinged with sadness.  

"You don't have to try to be positive about this it's ok to be saddened by it." Izuku states

She let her smile fall before speaking again "don't get me wrong I'm happy about this, it just sucks that im going to have to get you readjusted to me again.  It took a while for you to really get me ya know, there were a lot of late night chats that mean a lot to me that you don't remember."

"Im sorry, I didn't mean to cause you guys to be so saddened with this, either of you" his eyes shifting between them.  "I may not remember everything we had Jiro but I will eventually and we will make some new memories." 

her face scrunched up at that "ugh don't call me Jiro its been years since you called me that, just call me Kyoka or songbird." She said than ginned in a teasing manner, "Im still gonna call you mop top instead of guardian" her and Momo laughed at that.

They began to make their way back to the dorms, where no doubt the rest of the class awaited them.  But as they walked Izuku finally got what Aizawa and Nemuri were saying before. maybe just being Izuku would be nice, or at least the current version of Izuku since the past version seemed to have a crappy life.
