Chapter 14
<POV: 3rd person>
<Location: Remote mountain range>
<Around a week and a half after chapter 13>
Exavier sat down leaning back on a tree.
He smiled happily as he pulled out a large piece of paper.
He scribbled something down on a map of around 100*100 kilometers. (don't kill me I just think it would be easier since we are using metric system)
Exavier had spent the last week and a half exploring the forest after he knew where to find the town he had gotten through the portal in. (I hate English)
EX froze when he heard something from a dark section of the woods he was near.
He snickered as a squirrel jumped up onto a tree.
That is what had made the noise.
But to Exavier something felt off.
He shrugged and told himself to just keep an eye out for anything weird.
After looking around more in the area EX decided to move to the next bit and start scouting for his map.
Not even a hour later the hairs on the back of EX's neck stand up.
Then a sharp pain in the middle of his back appeared. And EX knew no more.
