Carmen still hasn't talked with Dottie. When they talked it was mostly when Dottie told Carmen to do her chores or Carmen asked her Mom when will Hershel get back. Dottie found it hard to believe that Carmen yelled and swore in front of her- which is something she had never done before. Though Carmen didn't care. She wanted to listen to Daryl and what he said but she was too stubborn to admit she was in the wrong.

Rick and Glenn still haven't brought Hershel back, so Shane, Andrea, T-Dog, and Daryl are preparing to go and look for them. The whole morning Carl kept talking with Carmen about younger siblings since Lori was pregnant. Carmen thought it was nice but why would anyone want more children during the apocalypse?

They heard a car pull up and everyone hurried outside to find that they had come back. Carl and Lori both ran to Rick and he pulled them in a hug. Carmen felt a small smile form on her face. She found it weird that she grew fond of the group. Maggie also ran in their direction but didn't hug Hershel but Glenn, who looked pretty shaken up. Carmen raised her brow when he brushed Maggie off and just walked next to them. She also noticed another person in the car.

"Patricia, prepare the shed for surgery," Hershel ordered as he walked into the house. "Who the hell is that?" T-Dog asked, pointing to the car. Everyone stared at a random guy who slept in the red vehicle.

"That's Randall."

...

"We couldn't just leave him behind. He'd bleed out." Rick defended, talking about Randall. Everyone was in the kitchen, listening to Rick explain what happened. "If he lived that long."

"It's gotten bad in town," Glenn stated and Maggie's face changed into worried expression. Carmen noticed them staring at each other before Glenn looked away. Why are they lovin' each other one day and hatin' the next, Carmen thought, staring at Glenn. She wondered if they got in a fight or something but before Glenn left for town, they were fine. He's probably just messin' with 'er, Carmen wanted to roll her eyes. Gonna beat his ass for it.

"What do we do with him?" Andrea asked. No one had an answer because they couldn't just bring him back to his people. His people would think they did something to him.

"I repaired his cast muscle the best I can but he'll probably have nerve damage," Hershel informed the group as he walked into the dining room. "Won't be on his feet for at least a week."

"When he is we're gettin' cantine, take him out to the main road. Send him on his way." Rick ordered.

"Isn't that the same as leaving him for the Walkers?" Carmen looked up when the door opened and Daryl walked in. He nodded in Carol's direction and leaned on the wall. She also noticed Dottie staring at him and he did at her too but just for a few seconds before down at his feet. What's that about, Carmen wondered.

"He'll have a fighting chance."

"Just gonna let 'im go? He knows where we are," Shane stated.

"He was blindfolded the whole way here. He's not a threat." Rick said, more aggressively this time.

"Not a threat? How many more of that?" Shane started. "You killed three of their men, you took you took one of 'em hostage but they just ain't gonna come lookin' for him."

"They left him for dead. No one is lookin'!" As the conversation continued, Carmen got more confused with how aggressive and mad Rick became. Especially towards Shane. I'd be aggressive towards Shan too- God, I hate that motherfucker -but Rick? Isn't Shane his best friend?
