Dottie was the next one.

She was very well aware of that. She listened to Merle beat the shit out of Glenn for almost twenty minutes, and later the door of Maggie's room opened, and after four minutes closed again. Now, she was just patiently waiting for Merle to come into her room and do whatever he did to Glenn and Maggie.

Her jaw clenched as the door opened, but Merle wasn't the one to come in. The man in front of her was taller, had brown hair, and looked much more presentable than Merle. The man closed the door and stood there for a minute, having a staring contest with Dottie. His lips formed a smile as he walked to the table and sat down. "I should probably introduce myself, right? I'm Philip, but people around here- in Woodbury, call me The Governor."

Dottie stayed quiet as she stared right into his soul, but his eyes kept wandering around her face, observing her closely. "I don't expect them to call me that. They just do." Dottie didn't have a single emotion on her face, but her eyes squinted just slightly. "Can I know your name?"

"What do ya want?" Dottie only asked in return, not even bothering to answer his question.

"Well, I just care for people, and Merle is a very good friend of mine. So hearing that someone put his life in danger by cuffing him to a roof doesn't sit right with me," Philip pursed his lips. Dottie could admit that Maggie or her weren't there when it happened, but she wasn't planning on betraying Glenn like that. "But you weren't involved with that, were you now?"

"What do ya want from us?" Dottie repeated.

"Well, I want to know where your group is," Philip stood up from the table and walked over to Dottie, leaning against the table in front of her. "But I believe the only way to get you to tell me is if you trust me enough, right? Maybe get to know me?" He grinned down at her, but she just glared back. "What's your name?"

Dottie gulped slightly before whispering. "Dottie."

"Dottie." He repeated, trying the name out on his tongue. "Do you have any children, Dottie?" Dottie's stomach dropped once she heard the man ask that. There was no way Glenn or Maggie told him that. They wouldn't, but how did he know? "I am a father. I have a daughter. Penny. I can kinda see when someone's a parent now."

"Your radar might be off this time," Dottie's breath hitched once Philip reached over and traced Dottie's exposed shoulder because of the tank top with his finger.

"Yeah, my radar must be off," He pursed his lips as his hand lowered from her shoulder to her collarbone. "I mean, no one can always be right. Right?" Dottie's hands, which were tied behind her back, started to slightly shake, as she clenched her jaw.

"This doesn't have to be a fight," Dottie stated. "You can let us go, and we'll never cross paths again." The Governor chuckled slightly at that as his finger traced lower, gently touching her breast, which made her breath hitch. He then lowered his hand to her waist and crouched in front of her.

"How about we stay quiet? We wouldn't want to upset your friends now, would we?" He whispered, a sly smirk on his face as his hand moved to her thigh, squeezing it slightly.
