In the quiet corners of my heart,

Where love once blossomed,

Now lies a garden wilted,

Under the burden of gloom.

A love once so vibrant, full of life and light,

Now dwells in shadows, lost in the endless night,

Once we roamed down the hallway so crowded,

Silence foreshadowed its empty walls.

I stood breathless as I watched you go,

To a never returning journey,

Leaving me all alone and clueless,

I wish you never left me broken.

Oh, how we danced, beneath the silver moon's glow,

Within the realm of dreams and memories,

Your laughter was my melody, your smile my sun,

But now the music's faded and our dance over.

The echoes of your whispers, still lingers in the breeze,

The  ringing of your words, still brings me to my knees,

The fragrance of your love, still clings in the air,

Yet, when I turn to hold you, I grasp but despair.

Shiny stars that once sparkled, amidst the canvas of sky,

Now seems dull and lifeless, devoid of their light,

The river of flashbacks, did flow through my heart,

Are nothing but frozen woodlands, covered in snow.

In this garden of sorrow, midst the thorns of pain,

I cherish each memory like drops of summer rain,

For even though our love was lost, in relentless tide,

Through the silent chambers of my heart, it will reside.

So, I wander through this garden, under the moon,

Where its soft glow is bestowed upon my figure,

Tending to the memories, learning to appreciate,

For a love that's lost is painful but a precious gem.

A silent song of the breaking dawn,

Which our hearts will sing forevermore,

Promises made in the early hours of dusk,

Now will remain as ashes in flames burning.
