40. Baby's first day out

Shivanaya's pov

After he left the room , I turned towards Arjun Bhai. He looked at me in confusion.

"Why did he leave like that ?"

"He had work to do."

"Oh yeah." He then sat down beside me , as wlwe talked randomly.

Last night , shivansh woke up one time crying , as he was hungry. After that , my baby was fast asleep but i couldn't sleep. The incident was so horrific , I could've lost my baby , that idiot could've hurt my baby.

Everything happened due to ansh , he is the reason behind this incident. Why did he kill that man's brother ? If he wouldn't have did it , we all would've been happy at our home.

"Choti ?" Bhai shook me. I looked at him and realised , I was lost in thoughts.

"Yes , bhai."

"What were you thinking ? You looked so lost."

"Just some thoughts , leave it. Tell me , how is ru ? Is her fever okay ?"

"Yes , shivu. She is okay." Ru had a fever that's the reason , Arjun Bhai didn't attend yesterday's party.

"Shh...my jelly bean. It's okay. Mumma is here." I tried to calm him down. I was discharged in the evening , Bhai had dropped me home.

"Shivansh , mera baccha....calm down. It's okay. Mumma will make everything good , what's wrong ? Huh ?" I rocked him back and forth in my arms. He continued crying.

"Shh...darling. My sweetie , please calm down. Don't cry so much." I was getting worried. I paced in the living room , rocking him in my arms.

I heard the door opening sound. I stopped in my tracks and saw ansh entering inside. He looked really tired.

"What's wrong ? Why is he crying so much ?" Ansh walked towards me worriedly. I glanced at him and then back at shivansh , trying to calm him down.

"Anya , I asked something."

"I don't want to talk to you ,leave."

"I need to know , what's wrong with him."

"I don't know." I softly whispered.

"Let me hold him , please." He requested. I shook my head.

"I don't want you near us." And I walked away with shivansh. I felt bad but remembered it's due to him , I could lose my baby.

Shivansh had fell asleep after crying. I looked at his tiny face , which turned rosy and red. I softly carresed his chubby cheeks.

"I love you , my baby. I am so sorry." He must be so scared due to the incident.

I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and saw ansh. He had a plate in his hand.

"Eat dinner." He handed me the plate. I shook my head.

"I didn't prepare it , Arjun had sent food." I looked at him.

"Okay." And I closed the door on his face. I felt bad looking at his fallen face. I shrugged it off and sat down to eat.

Shivansh woke up crying at midnight. I fed him and tried to make him sleep. He was being cranky. It took me an hour to make him sleep.

2 days passed since the incident , I didn't let ansh near shivansh or me. Shivansh was being unusually cranky and kept crying most of the time. He wouldn't sleep nor drink. I was worried for him.
