This is the last chapter, all that is left is the epilogue. I can't express just how grateful I am for all of your interest, your comments, your kudos, and everything else that you have given me through this journey. I debated whether I should write a thank you note now or at the end of the story and then I figured, why not both? Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and I hope that you enjoyed the story. I know that as a writer, I still have a long way of improving myself. I hope you'll find the ending interesting, it's the most difficult part. I have been traumatized by unsatisfactory endings my whole life and I did my best to at least give a decent end to this work. I will not take more of your time, please enjoy the last chapter of "Her Empire"❤️❤️❤️

"Alpha Hanbin is old, weak, and a coward. If he wins, I will kill you myself."

Hoseok took his leave and stood beside Jungkook and Aecha watching the improvised arena with dark eyes. The anticipation hung thick in the air as the audience awaited the clash between the two formidable adversaries, Hanbin, although weak in Hoseok's eyes, wasn't one to be underestimated.

As the signal echoed through the arena, the two wolves circled each other, a study in contrasts. Hanbin, relying on cunning and skill, eyed his adversary with a weathered determination. Yoongi, fueled by vigor and vitality, responded with a series of bold feints and lunges, testing the waters.

The crowd's collective breath held in suspense, the atmosphere charged with the primal energy of the impending battle. Suddenly, the arena erupted in a flurry of motion as the young wolf surged forward, jaws snapping in an attempt to seize the advantage. Hanbin, however, demonstrated sagacious agility, dodging with a well-timed sidestep.

The battle unfolded like a dance, a harmonious exchange of strength and experience. Hanbin, despite the wear on his frame, showcased a tactical brilliance that belied his age. Yoongi was proven right yet again. He was determined to prove his mettle, as he unleashed a torrent of powerful strikes, his movements propelled by youthful exuberance.

The clash of teeth and the resounding thud of powerful bodies reverberated through the arena, capturing the attention of every spectator. Both wolves whined and howled at each hit. Yoongi snarled his teeth as foam gathered around his mouth. He hoped the old wolf would just give up. But there was a part of him that didn't want Hanbin to give up, it wanted the stubborn alpha to fight him, to start the assault, to anger him to the point Yoongi would lose control and kill him. At least then, he would have no excuse but to kill Hanbin, his father's murderer. He couldn't let Hanbin win this fight, he would not only put his life in danger, but his mates and his siblings, and the whole Min dynasty would be in jeopardy. He couldn't allow himself to lose.

They circled each other, Yoongi avoided claws and bit all he could reach. He heard Hoseok yelling at him to be done and over with, reminding him that this wasn't a game of wits. He shouldn't be selfish and wait for the other to attack just so he could sleep with a clear conscience, he should kill him already.

Yoongi jumped on the older alpha, he calculated his move and anticipated Hanbin's defense. The head alpha of the Min pack hated his life in the coven, but if there was one thing he would always be grateful for, it would be his fighting skills. He learned exactly how the elders thought, and their methods in both defense and attacks. He knew how to kill Hanbin. His mouth landed on his throat, and he bit hard enough to apply pressure, cutting off the oxygen and forcing the wolf into submission.

In that moment, the arena fell into a hushed reverence, acknowledging the profound beauty of a battle that transcended mere physical strength. Yoongi had Hanbin under his rough paw, claws holding his life by a string and jaw around his throat. He wished he could turn human and tell him that he knows, he knows he killed his father for power. But at the end of the day, the fear in Hanbin's yellow eyes had to be enough, he was content knowing that Hanbin would never rule over the white moon pack. He had his revenge and this was more than enough.
