Lord Vile

Summary: Lord Vile takes over and goes on a rampage and Valkyrie talks him down.

Valkyries pov:
Oh god. NO! NO! NO! Skulduggerys Lord Vile and now he's destroying all the shops in the street. THANK GOD NO ONES AROUND!

I ran along the street and looked for any massive dust clouds or rubble or a massive black silhouette. Oh. I found all three of them. Skulduggery Pleasant when you are back to your normal self I am going to hug you and then kill you. Again. I rushed over and yelled at him, "OI VILE!" Probably not the best way to get the attention of my homicidal best friend but he was really pissing me off now.

He slowly turned to me and took a step forward. "No, you stay back until your Skulduggery again." He paused and stopped. Thank god I wasn't sure what u would have done if he hadn't. "OK, well I'm going to talk to Skulduggery now. I need you to fight him. Please, your my best friend and I don't know what I'm going to do without you."

He took another step forward and I stepped back. "Please he's gone now. You stopped him. Now I need you back please!" He stepped forward again and I felt tears run down my face. The armour wasn't coming off. WHY WASN'T THE ARMOUR COMING OFF? I didn't even realise he was gathering his shadows until they were sent crashing into me.

I was thrown into the opposite wall and I  cried out. Oh it hurts. Oh god that hurts! I'm sure I broke a few ribs. And my leg. Dam it now I can't walk. I did my best to crawl away but I felt arms around me, picking me up. I tried to roll out of them before realising g that instead of Vile, it was Skulduggery who was holding me. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Val." He blamed himself.
"It's fine, it wasn't you. Glad you're back." I said doing my best to convince him. "I think I need to got to the medical bay."
"I shouldn't have let him control me. I should have fought back."
"Have you ever thought that way about me and Darkquess?" (A/n: is that spelt wrong?)
"No but-"
"You dont have a but to talk. Its not your fault. It was my own stupidity that made me run into danger like that." I felt a jolt of pain run through me and I winced.
"Sorry."
"If you say sorry one more time I will remove your jaw." And I'm not joking either.

He laughed and put me in the Bentley. I hate Lord Vile.
