This was requested by ScarletBlack1301 I'm so sorry that it didn't come when I said it was, I've been really busy. Also, sorry that this is so short and anticlimactic.

Summary: Skulduggery gets arrested for something he did in the war.

Third person pov
"Skulduggery Pleasant you are under arrest for mass murder, war crimes and tampering with evidence." Detective Dian said. He tried to keep his face straight and serious but the excitement of being the one to arrest the skeleton detective over took him. Skulduggery, surprisingly, allowed himself to get arrested and carried on the conversation he was having with Valkyrie. She mirrored his uninterested nature assuming that he had a plan.

She assumed wrong.

Skulduggery just hoped that Ghastly or Ravel realised he was missing and pardoned him without asking too many questions.

Time and place skip

"Where's Skulduggery and Valkyrie?" Ravel asked. He needed him for a case. Ghastly just shrugged his shoulders and went to go look for him.

Ghastly pov
I don't get it, I searched the whole of the sanctuary and can't find Skulduggery or Val. I started to head down to the cells and what I heard made me want to rip out my non-existant hair.

Of course Skulduggery would get himself arrested. And of course Valkyrie wouldn't give a damn and just sit on the floor opposite him to keep talking. She could really talk. Don't tell her I said that, she would kill me.

"What the bloody hell are you two doing down here?!" I yelled.
A guard stepped in front of me and started to speak.
"Good evening Elder Ghastly. My name is Detective Dian and Mr Pleasant has been arrested because in the war he..."
"I don't care." I snapped. "The war was hundreds of years ago! If Madame Mist can pardon doctor Nye, then I can pardon him. I don't want to hear if this again. Get him out and to the Grand Mages office right now." And with that, I walked off.
