Sleepover gone wrong

Summary: Val is at her mortal friends house and they get kidnapped so now she has to get them out.

A/n: She isn't dating Fletcher and they haven't dated.

Third person pov:
Valkyrie arrived at Chloes house and knocked on the door. She was excited because this was the first time when there were no cases, no world threats and no people trying to murder her so she got to sleep at her friends house. Susan and Macy would also be there so it would be three of her friends (that weren't sorcerers and over 90) and her all night.

Chole answered the door and rushed her in. "Do you know how hard it was to get my parents to go away for the weekend? It's like 'hello, I'm 15' but they still think I'm a baby! I swear they are so overprotective, it's ridiculous!" She hugged her and dragged her upstairs. "Your the last one here, we had to order pizza now because if not it would be shut before they could make them. We got you pepperoni, I'd that ok?"
"I love pepperoni!"
"Thank god!" Chloe was always anxious. She had awful friends before she finally dropped them and became friends with them so she was constantly scared that one wrong move, and she wouldn't be liked anymore. Obviously Val, Susan and Mavis would never do that because they all love her and think she's so sweet, but no matter how many times they try to tell her this shes still scared.

Valkyrie walked into her bedroom and sat on the bed. The other girls greeted her. Chloe tied her blond hair up as the door bell rang. "It's the pizza. I'll go get it." She left and went to go get the food.
"Hey, Stephen, how've you been?" Asked Mavis. She was wearing her hair in box braids and they were in a bun. She was the only girl who was wearing makeup, as the others were planning to do eachothers, but the uneven eyeliner and messy blush pointed to the fact that she didn't do it herself as her makeup was normaly flawless.
"I'm good. Did your little sister do your makeup?" Susan snorted and Mavis hit her.
"Yeah. She did it before I left and I didn't have time to take it off. I'll do it now." She got up to grab a wipe to Valkyries protests.
"Don't worry I already got pictures." Said Susan.
"You did, when?"
"When you were talking to your mum."
"Of course you did." Susan was a small ginger girl who was covered head to toe in freckles. Val also sweated she was a demon from hell but that's a story for another day.

"Shouldn't Chloe be back?" Asked Mavis.
"Yeah, should we go check on her?" She asked. The girls all got up and headed downstairs.
"Chloe. You ok?" Susan called, Val didn't even have time to think before they were attacked. 5 men came at them and knocked Susan and Mavis out but she was more difficult. The men weren't sorcerers, but they had more people and she was one girl. Valkyrie avoided getting knocked out and managed to take 2 men out, before one pulled out a knife and stabbed her in the stomach...

Time skip

She woke up in a basement. A very smelly basement. Her hands were tied with roap, that on any other day she could get out of but there people had drugged her. Great. It was a weird drug. Her mind was normal but her body was sore and weak. Then she realised she hadn't just been drugged, but also stabbed. How could she forget? She swore loudly. "How the hell are you awake? You were literally stabbed and took 2 of our men out, yet you wake up before the others, who were just hit around the head!" She smiled.
"I'm just special." He grunted.

Time skip

An hour later the other 3 woke up. "What do you want?" Demanded Susan.
"Calm down red, we only want some ransom because this ones,"  he gestured to Chloe, "parents are rich." He left at that and Chloe started to cry.
"I'm so sorry guys."
"Hey, it's not your fault." Susan tried to comfort her. Mavis was just staring at Valkyrie.
"Mavis, what?" She asked her friend.
"Your bleeding..." She looked down at her shirt and swore.
"They stabbed me."
"THEY WHAT?!" All the girls yelled at her. God, head ache. Great.
"It's fine. We're any of you drugged?"
"Yeah I was." Said Chloe.
"Me too." Added Mavis.
"Same." Great. At least she could feel it wearing off. Of course she would need medical attention but that was a problem for later.

Time skip

The drug had finally worked off and Valkyrie was working to stap the ropes off. Skulduggery had taught her a way to do it but oh god it hurt. When she got them off, she went and freed the other girls. "How did you do that?" Asked Mavis.
"Self-defence classes." Valkyrie shrugged.
The girls walked up the stairs, "On the counter of three, I'm going to run out and attack them. I can hear whoever on the other side of the door and it sounds like there's 3 men, (A/n: the others were still out cold from when she knocked them out) then I want you to run past and get help. Got it?" She left no room for arguments. "One...two...three." They rushed out....

The men were caught unaware and Valkyrie managed to knock two out. The third, she had to kill. It was for her friends safety though, so that took some of the guilt off. Chloe, Mavis and Susan ran off to a nearby house, that she was now walking up the drive of. They saw her through the window, ran out and hugged her (which hurt because during the fight she broke at least 2 of her ribs). The police were called and they arrived 10 minutes later to take statements.

Time skip

Her parents arrived at the hospital and wrapped her in their arms. "Oh Steph." Her mum cried. Her dad didn't speak. Just held her tight. Really tight.
"Dad, your crushing me." She wheesed. He mumbled an apology and let her go.
"Your so brave. The police were so shocked when they heard how you took down those men. I'm so proud." Valkyries mum kept saying nice things about her and then her dad did and then they did it together.

Time skip

"I'm impressed." Skulduggery said as she got in his car.
"Why?" Valkyrie asked, putting on her seat belt.
"Taking down five grown men without your magic. That's impressive."
"How did you know I did it without magic?"
"Your friends were there, even if they weren't in the house you wouldn't have risked it." She nodded.
"You know me so well." She smiled at him.
"It was also incredibly stupid. If they saw anything the sensitive would have sorted it out! Instead you went up against five grown men without magic! Come on Val!"
"Ah, here comes the lecture. Can't you just be proud of me?"
"I'm always proud of you. But this time you were just stupid. And you got stabbed!"
"Aww. Your always proud of me."
"Shut up." He snapped.
"Just admit it! You care about me!"
"Hmmm, let me think. No." She pouted at him, "Fine, I care about you. You happy now?"
"Very."
"That was still incredibly stupid of you." She groaned. Of course he was still going to lecture her.
