" Bondita... Please meri baat suno. Bondita suno to... Jaan please.... " lastly it came out exhausted . She stopped hearing the exhaustion in his voice. He knew she angry at him... Not angry but mad . She deserves to be mad at him. But she also deserves to know why he did what he did.

She turned to him with blazing fire eyes but they replaced with worry now. He was leaning down, holding his knees for support and panting for breath. Her patibabu looked... Weak. She really looked him and observed him and he looked thin.. Heavy stubble over his face, under eyes darkened and puffed. For a moment he looked like completely different man. Her gaze blurred with glistened tears.

He looked up and instantly sensed the thoughts. He approached her with slow steps and cupped her face wiping her tears with his thumb. He tried to hug her but her big stomach came in the way. He chuckled at her overgrown stomach. He still couldn't believe that are about to embrace parenthood. Ooof!  He felt a heavy push on his chest.

" yahan meri jaan ne nikli jaa rahi hai aur aap has rahe hai... Seriously? " he could see her angry tears now. " aapne wada kiya tha " he felt a sharp jab at his chest. She was hitting him with her dainty fists. " aapne wada kiya tha.. Aap mere liye apne kismat se bhi ladhenge. " she was hitting him again and again and he took every blow as a soft caress. " to ladhe kyun nahi aap. " she cried out in anger and desperation. " kyun nahi? " it came out more vulnerable than she was.

He could feel his heart shatter.. Piece by piece .

" Bondita... " he tried to hold her face again but she swatted his hands away. " B.. Bondita ...jaan pehle.. Pehle kahin baith jao. Phir karlena gussa "

She glared at him.. He gulped.

" aapko lagta hai mujhe baithne ki padi hai. Nahi baithna mujhe.. I don't care I don't FUCKING care " she screamed in anger.

" Bondita " Anirudh says a little sternly. He gestured at her stomach. " ab hum akele nahi hai. " he softly added making her heart flutter. " jab akele honge tab bol dena.. Mujhe accha lagega " he teased her. But she didn't find it funny.

" Aapko yeh sab majaak lag raha hai .." she pushed hard on his chest making him stumble back . " majaak lag raha hai aapko ..thik hai ek majaak main bhi karti hun ...agar yeh sab aapke saath naa hokar mere saath hota to ? agar mere marn-" 

" JABAAN SAMBHAAL KE BAAT KARO BONDITA "  he yelled putting a hand on her mouth stopping her from saying further . 

She yanked his hand down , he felt the wetness on them because of her tears . " bura laga na ? lagaa na bura aapko ? to fir mera sochiye meri kya halat hui hogi . wo ek raat maine kaise gujaari hogi aapki khoon se bhari shirt dekh kar . kya kya khyaal aaye honge ? kya ...beeti hai mujhpar yeh jaan kar aapne koshish tak nahi ki mujh tak pahunch ne ki  ...itne mahine aap inke paas rahe par aapne ek baar bhi ..ek baar bhi mujhtak pahunch ne ki koshish nahi ki ...sirf ek ..ek ishaara mere liye kaafi hota aap tak pahunch ne ke liye , yahan se chudane ke liye ... nahi rehna padta aapko yahan itne mahino tak , mere paas rehte aap ..bacchon ke saath . aapko pata hai mujhe kitni takleef hui , kitna darr laga yeh sochkar ...ki ..ki ek possibility yeh bhi ho sakti hai ..jaha mere bacche apne baba ko hi naa dekhe . " Her heart ached with the weight of her words, the fear of losing him again lurking just beneath the surface. She couldn't bear the thought of being separated from him once more, of losing him to the darkness that had threatened to consume him.

Anirudh's gaze faltered under the intensity of Bondita's stare, his own emotions laid bare for all to see.  " main tumhe takleef main nahi dekh sakta tha , nahi dal sakta tha khatre mein  .." he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper . " main uss duniya main nahi rehpata jis  duniya mein tum nahi hoti ... "
