"Owen, I'm so sorry about Lily..." Simon began.
"Are you really?" Owen snapped. "You had part in this creating that thing. You used her for information! Is that why you brought her here?" he asked angrily. "She was suspicious about this whole thing from the beginning and we blew it off."
Jennifer let out a sob in Lowery's arms.
"Owen please," Claire began, "I need your help, my nephews are still out there. They could be alive." Claire pleaded. "Please help me."
"Why should I help you?"
"Owen, it's not the boys fault." Jennifer sniffed holding onto Lowery. "It's not their fault. Lily was was going to meet them in the plains for a tour."
Owen wanted to throttle those responsible for all the chaos, but he knew it wouldn't bring Lily back. She was gone.
"Let's go." he growled.
Claire watched as Owen did his best to keep his composure but he was failing miserably as he wiped his eyes several times.
"What are you going to tell her parents?" he asked her suddenly.
"Wh-what?"
"What do you plan on telling her father and mother?" Owen said louder. "How they're only child is dead because you guys went around screwing with everything!"
"Owen, this wasn't my doing. I was doing my job."
"Is that your excuse? I was doing my job." he mimicked her voice.
"She was doing her job too and look where that got her!" he yelled. Claire flinched.
"I didn't want this to happen Owen." she said softly.
"Well, it's too late for that now."
"Maybe Dr. Lily's around here!" Gray said hopefully as they ran from the shattered Gyrosphere. "She said she'd meet us out here!"
"I don't think she would still be out here with that thing!" Zach reminded him.
The Indominus Rex realized the two boys had escaped from her capture and took off after them.
"Gray, go!" Zach yelled as it crashed through the trees behind them.
Gray whimpered before looking back. "Oh, crap." he wailed as the dinosaur screeched loudly.
Zach was slightly ahead of Gray when he came to a sudden halt and put out his hand to stop his brother. They looked over the waterfall cliff.
The Indominus Rex was closing in on them her mouth opened ready to crush them with her massive jowls.
"We're going to have to jump." Zach told Gray. Gray looked at his big brother with wide eyes.
"I can't!"
"Are you ready?" Zach said ignoring him. "1..2... COME ON!" he pulled Gray with him as they jumped to the water below. The Indominus Rex had been too close. She looked over the ledge only to see the water. She grunted before turning around and running off.
Zach held Gray under water for a little bit to make sure the dinosaur wouldn't see them. The two brothers finally surfaced crawling out on the banks of the river.
Owen made it to the plains, the last place the boys were to be seen in the Gyrosphere. As the two adults stepped out and came upon a dying apatosaurus that was attempting to get up. There were deep claw marks in it's sides. It's breath became slower and slower as Owen held it's head in his arms. Finally, it's eyes closed.
Claire broke into tears at the sight of the dying dinosaur that was now dead. The two were up on their feet only to see others dead in the field.
"She's killing for sport." Owen said in horror.
"How could all of this happen?" Claire said to herself.
Gray stayed close to his brother clinging onto him several times as they rummaged through the thick wooded area. They listened for any noises signaling the Indominus Rex was near.
They entered an abandoned building cautiously when they uncovered the old Jurassic Park logo still visible even with the water damage and rubble.
After searching around for a little bit they came upon the old cars of the park.
"Remember that summer when we worked on grandpa's car?" Zach said to Gray.
Zach went over to one of the newer cars that had no driver present of in sight. He shuddered to think what happened to the person. He took the battery from that car and brought it over to the old vehicle. After some rewiring, Zach jumped into the driver's seat. The car turned over and the engine came to life.
The silence in the clearing was inviting to the little microceratus that finally mustered enough courage to come out from hiding. They stalked around cautiously in case the giant predator decided to return. One of the more adventurous one jumped onto the large piled of twisted metal glancing out as almost a watchguard while the others ate.
It glanced down and began pecking it's beak against the glass of the window a couple of times before deeming it not edible.
Suddenly, it heard movement. It glanced around as the others looked over. The glass shattered as a boot kicked through knocking the small microceratus off and startling away the small group who darted off into the jungle.
There was a gasp of air before a man fell out of the car landing onto the ground.
