"Hello?" A voice of a man responded to the call.

"Jackie boy! I'm glad I got the chance to talk to you again!" The man who made the call spoke excitedly.

"I hope this time you ask for something that is within my limits Max" the man at the other side of the phone complained.

"Don't worry. This time I will ask you to buy me a ticket for America" the man named Max replied.

"What is that? Tired of living with your ex wife?" The other man asked.

"Malta is good. I will not lie. But as you said I see no point in living with Lizzy anymore. Besides, my heart belongs to someone else" answered Max.

"Say it and its done boss" the other man replied and they hang up.

Max descended the stairs of his rented mansion in Malta carefully and silently. He had already packed his belongings from the previous day. It was still late at night and his ex wife was sleeping in her bedroom.

"Finally. I'm going back to America. And the woman who stole my heart" he mumbled to himself.

He was about to grab his passport from the coffee table when his phone rang. He reached out for his phone and checked the ID. He was glad to see it was the man whom he talked with earlier. He quickly answered the call.

"I hope you have good news" he began.

"There's a flight to America right now. You have plenty of time to reach the airport. I sent a person I am familiar with to pick you up. He will recognize you. Everything is ready for your flee".

"Good to know. I'll see you in America dude".

"See you once you arrive buddy" and with that the men hang up.

Max didn't have to wait long for his driver. By the time he got out he saw a black car waiting for him. The first thing he did was to load his suitcases at the back of the car. He then sat at the backseats.

"Good evening Mr Rider" the driver greeted his customer.

"Good evening" Max greeted back as he shut the door. "I assume you know me".

"Oh yes, Jack told me about your collaboration. Don't worry my friend. I'll get you at the airport in no time".

The driver started the car.

It took about three hours to reach the airport. Max could be considered lucky since the flight was still in force. The driver parked the car and helped his customer unload his belongings. The driver reached out for his pocket and he took out a ticket. He handed it to Max.

"This is the ticket. Earning it was like a child's game for Jack's men".

Max took the ticket in his hands. He examined it. Then he gave a nod to the driver.

"You guys are amazing. I will have to thank Jack when I go back".

"You and him have been through thick and thin. He'll understand. Good luck with your newlife".

Max gestured to the driver and then they separated their ways.

The young man remained in the building waiting for his flight. Inside his mind a flash of his ex wife's image appeared. He was leaving her alone so he could go back to his love interest. The woman he had an eye for from the beginning.

Max's flight was finally announced in the building of the airport. He got up from his seat and got ready to get in the airplane.

Once he was inside the airplane the young man searched for his seat. To his luck his partner had chosen the perfect seat for him. He could have everything he needed, whenever he needed it, with a huge amount of privacy and without triggering anyone's interest. He sat at his seat. He turned his attention to the window.

"I'm going home..." He muttered to himself.

The man took out a photo. It was a photo of him and his father. He stared at it for a while before his attention was caught by the window again. Then he took out another photo. It was a photo of a bar.

"I hope its still in a good condition" he mumbled as he started at the photo.

Then he took a third picture. It was the picture of a woman with long dark brown hair, almost to the shade of chocolate, shiny teal eyes and pale skin like the one of porcelain. Max stared at the picture for a couple of minutes before he caressed it with his fingers as if he wanted to reach out to the woman in the photo.

"I'm coming back my love. This time I'll make you mine".

The plane ascended. Max's journey back to his home country began. He closed his eyes gently and leaned his head on his seat. His dreams were full of the woman in the photo.

2 days later

The airplane arrived at the airport of one of the cities of America. Max didn't miss a chance to get out. He received his belongings and stepped out of the plane. He inhaled deeply the air of his home city.

"I'm back! But first there's someone I want to visit" he said as he glanced at the photo of the bar and the photo of the woman.
