We all sit around a table eating lunch, reflecting on the craziness of the last few days. The academy has started classes again, and the school is once again buzzing with life.

- I wonder what'll happen to Rey now. He literally tried to take over Heaven and Hell. Is that even in Satan's domain anymore, Dante asks.

- It is. It happened on Satan's turf, so it's Satan's quarrel, Adal says.

- What he'll do with Rey, though. That's hard to say, Draco says.

- Seems simple to me. Rey needs to be eliminated. Completely, Trevor says.

- Tough talk coming from someone who was also sentenced to death, Draco says.

- I played my part and was shown mercy, don't forget that. That is unforgivable, though. Besides, Rey nearly killed Kira, Trevor says.

- Satan has been merciful before, so we don't know what he'll do with Rey, Draco says.

- As long as he isn't going to hurt anyone, I'll be happy, I say. My mom flashes in my mind.

- The last time I saw her was when I brought her back home. But I had to leave before she could even wake up, I say in my head. I'm jolted out of my thoughts as a demon pats me on the shoulder, giving me a cheerful greeting. I watch her go, realizing I have no idea who she was. Dante laughs.

- That's been happening all day, hasn't it, darling, Dante asks.

- Well, the Princess did save three worlds, stood up to a fallen angel, and destroyed the scepter that controlled the humans. One would be a fool not to trust her after that, Draco says. Trevor sneers.

- I'd rather they didn't touch her at all, Trevor says.

- For once I might agree with you, Adal says. I feel myself begin to blush.

- It wasn't that big of a deal, I say.

- Not that big of a deal, Dante asks. He sets his foot down, staring at me intently.

- Are we talking about the same apocalypse. Because I remember you basically saving everyone's ass, Dante says. I hide my face in embarrassment.

- I don't think I'll be able to take more of this praise, I say in my head.

- But I couldn't have done it without all of you, I say.

- And we couldn't have done it without you, Princess, Draco says.

- He's right. You really are the Princess of Darkness, Kira. I'm sure your father would be proud, Adal says. I smile.

Just then, a familiar letter appears out of thin air and falls right in front of me.

- That seal, I say in my head. For a moment, I'm afraid to open it. I slip a finger under the seal and open it, my heart beating faster.

" Dearest Kira, I hope this finds you well. I've heard a great many things about the events at the Academy and how you handled yourself. You may have been brought here by force, but you faced your own circumstances and achieved victory. I am truly, deeply proud of you. For that reason, I will grant you freedom. You may return to the human world or remain here. Naturally, you are also free to abandon the task of choosing a husband. Everything is up to you now. Best wishes, Satan" So many emotions well up as I retrace the words of my estranged father.

- What does it say, Trevor asks. I glance up, realizing everyone has been waiting with bated breath.

- It says that I'm free to go back to the human world, or stay here. I also don't have to choose a husband if I don't want to, I say.
