(Orkos and Kratos fall onto the floor with grunts as they manage to get away from the Furies. Dratos seems to be the only one, who landed on his feet. He goes to offer them both a hand)
(The two older men grab onto Dratos' hands as he pulls them off the ground. Kratos as soon as he is on his feet, checks to make sure his son doesn't have any injuries)
Kratos: Are you alright Dratos? Nothing broken?
(Dratos swats his father's hands away, embarrassed by Kratos' protective nature)
Dratos: (Annoyed) I am alright father, no need to check on me.
(They turn their attention back to Orkos, who is dusting himself off)
Orkos: You both will never reach the Eyes now that my mothers know you and your son are after them. This power helped me escape Hecatonchires.
(Orkos starts summoning a gem that looks like a heart)
Kratos: And what will happen to you?
Orkos: If you and your son don't succeed, my fate is sealed regardless.
(Kratos takes the gem and looks at it for a small bit, before looking back at Orkos)
Orkos: Alecto has destroyed the only path that leads to the lantern. Before I could have told you both how to get to it, but... but now you and your son will need to find a new way.
(Kratos and Dratos start their journey again, but with a different approach. They start pushing on a lever, lowering the Elevator and making their way outside. It Shows they are still on the island)
The Ribs of Apollo
(Kratos uses the amulet to fix the statue, while Dratos keeps an eye out for anything that could cause them trouble. The left arm of the statue starts putting itself back together, lifting the lantern, they have been searching for out of the water. The Spartans start walking through the inside of the statue, working the machines, getting them to start functioning as the mechanisms spin)
(The chains begin to move, lifting the lantern higher above the water. Dratos helps his father with the gears, making them operate as a beam of light shoots into the sky, where the head of the statue is still in the water)
(The Spartans make their way up to where the beam is shooting out and Kratos uses the amulet to reconstruct the head/helmet of Apollo. Dratos starts moving crystals with the help of his father to areas inside the head so they can reflect the light through the statue's eyes and into the lantern)
(The Spartans start climbing a ladder out of the statue's head and onto the helmet overlooking the sea, they crossed to get to the statue. Kratos sees something off in the distance. He nudges his son, who looks at him confused, until he points in the direction of the creature flying towards them)
Dratos: Looks like we have company.
(Dratos summons his blades and gets into a fighting stance. Kratos does the same, prepared to deal with whatever is flying towards them. It's revealed to be the same creature they fought, when they went to see the Oracle)
(They leap off and grab onto the flying beast as they make it fall. it gains altitude, trying to shake off the warrior, who is riding on its back)
(They Spartans use their blades and start stabbing it, making it turn towards the lantern, once they are close enough. The father-son duo jumps off its back and lands on the statue, then they fall through a hole with the beast, who lost a wing)
(Dratos summons his spear and shield and starts thrusting the spear at the beast, while blocking strikes from the tail. Kratos swings his blades at the one-winged creature, adding cuts and slash marks to the body of it)
(Kratos grapples onto it and lets Dratos jump on top of the beast's back as he summons his blades and starts stabbing it multiple times in the head as the beast falls lifeless. Dratos gets off the dead beast's corpse he wipes the blood off his blades)
(The gates disappear as they can see the Eyes of Truth. The Spartans run towards the Eyes and stop as Orkos appears beside them)
Orkos: Not much further now, Spartans. Inside there are the Eyes of Truth. The very same ones my mothers ruthlessly pulled from Aletheia.
(Orkos starts telling the Spartans a visual story of the Oracle's ruthless tale)
(The scene shows the temple where the Oracle once lived before her demise)
Orkos: When I learned of the plot between my parents to overthrow Olympus I could not believe Aletheia's words.
(Orkos can be seen standing next to the Oracle, looking her in the eyes as she explains to him about Ares' plot against Zeus)
Orkos: Then she showed me the truth that the God of War would bring down the very walls of Olympus.
(Ares and Alecto can be seen watching Olympus crumble to the ground)
Orkos: I knew I must stop them. Aletheia and I sought to warn Zeus but Ares learned of our attempt, he sent my mothers after us.
(Orkos and the Oracle are walking towards Olympus but are ambushed by the Furies. Orkos is grabbed by Megaera and pulled away from Aletheia as she is grabbed and has her eyes ripped out of her head)
Orkos: The eyes were brutally ripped from my beloved. She became a prisoner in her own temple.
(Alecto is holding the Eyes as blood drips from them)
Orkos: Ares and my mothers knew that if the Eyes of Truth were hidden, then their wicked plot would not be revealed.
(Alecto drops the Eyes into a chamber as they glow, sending a beam of light through the lantern)
Orkos: And soon they would reign over the Gods themselves.
(The Story ends as we are brought back to the real world)
Orkos: To keep their plan in motion, they need you both back, Spartans. They will stop at nothing until you both return to Lord Ares.
Kratos: Ares will have to find others to do his bidding.
Dratos: We are his slaves no longer, he can go fuck himself.
Orkos: I know you both will set things right.
(Orkos teleports away, leaving the Spartans to do more work)
