Son of the Ghost

God of War II (Chapter 1)

Six years and 5 months after the events of Ghost of Sparta

Narrator: By defeating Ares, Kratos and his son, Dratos, the once mortal warriors became the new... Gods of War

(The Spartans are seen in their thrones, their face holds a stoic and cold look. Dratos is now thirty-one years old as both he and his father stand up from their thrones)

Narrator: However, Both Spartans soon found themselves alone on Olympus, shunned by their fellow gods...

(They walk to a table that is in the center of their throne room, which shows the Spartan army fighting)

Narrator: But Kratos and Dratos had no need for the love of the petty gods, they had found a new family in the warriors of Sparta, gaining sess from their past, con to battle

(One of the Spartan soldiers looks up to the sky and calls out to his lords)

Spartan Soldier: My Lords Kratos and Dratos, another city is ready to fall, soon all shall know the glory of Sparta

(Kratos looks at his son as Dratos looks back at him, they nod to each other and begin walking to the edge of Olympus)

(Athena is seen running up to them as she has a scolding look on her face)

Athena: Enough, Spartans, with every city you two destroy... The wrath of Olympus grows. Soon I will no longer be able to protect you both

(Dratos glares at Athena, his tail thrashes a slight rage behind him. He shoves her out of the way as both he and his father continue walking)

Dratos: My father and I need no protection

(Athena places her hand on their shoulders)

Athena: Do not forget that it was I who made you both gods, Ghost of Sparta and Son of the Ghost. Do not turn your back on me

Kratos: We owe you nothing

(The Spartans turn away from her as they start walking away from her, clearly not caring about what she has to say)

Athena: ...then you both leave me no choice

(They both make their way to the edge of Olympus as they prepare to join their Spartan brethren)

Narrator: Kratos and Dratos had turned the pain of their memories into hatred, hatred for the gods, who had refused to free them from the nightmares of their past deeds and so they went to  Rhodes to deliver the final blow to the besieged city

(They both lean forward as they cast themselves off Olympus and into battle. Both Spartans land on the ground, but they are now massive in size, the same size as when they killed Ares, the former God of War)

(Kratos punches a building as Dratos kicks one, causing it to go flying)

(A Eagle is seen flying above Kratos and Dratos as it fires lightning at them, causing them to shrink back to normal size)

(Both Spartans are confused as they believe who is mostly likely responsible for this)

Kratos and Dratos: Athena!!!

Kratos: You conspire against me and my son?!!

(The eagle lands on the Statue of Rhodes as lightning brings it to life. The Colossus of Rodes begins to move as it heads over to Kratos and Dratos, who have shrunk back to their normal sizes)
