(Dratos summons his spear and stabs it through a Legionnaire's stomach as he brutally rips the spear out with blood staining the ground)(The Spartans open a dome, which reveals Pandora's Box, their key to killing Ares and getting their reveal against the God of War)
Dratos: We finally have it, now we can get our revenge against Ares
(Kratos nods as the platform lowers to them)
Kratos: Vengeance will be ours, my son. Come help me move it(Both Spartans touch the box which glows blue as the apparition of Athena appears. The goddess looks down at the Spartans)
Athena: Spartans, your quest is at an end. You both are the first mortals to ever reach Pandora's Box, there is still time to save Athens, you must bring the Box back to my city and use it to kill Ares. Return to Athens, Spartans, return and save my city
(Dratos' tail bristles a bit. The floor below them begins to lower as it reaches the bottom and both Spartans push the Box, making their way out of Pandora's Temple)
Narrator: After a thousand years, Pandora's Box was at last freed of its confines. Both Kratos and Dratos had found the means to destroy the God of War
(Ares is seen in Athens, destroying it and attacking the citizens of the great city of Athena)
Narrator: Far away in Athens, Ares knew Kratos and Dratos had succeeded in their quest
(Ares is about to attack but halts as he looks in the direction of where Pandora's Temple is at and where the Spartans are currently are)
Ares: So little Spartans, you've both recovered Zeus' precious box. But you both will not live long enough to see it opened. I will see to that, goodbye Spartans, you both will rot in the depths of Hades for all eternity
(Ares picks up two pointed pillars and hurls them. The pillar flies at a great distance as they impale both Kratos and his teenage son through their stomachs)
Kratos: Ragh!
Dratos: Ahhh!
(The Spartans begin to bleed out)
Narrator: As the life began to leave, Kratos and his son, their thoughts returned to that fateful night, even in death the memories, the visions would not fade-
(Flashback to the night, when Kratos and his son murdered Lysandra and Calliope. Dratos, who was eight at the time is holding the body of his sister in his arms as he cries with his forehead against her, his father is holding Lysandra's hand as Kratos clutches his eyes closed as he grits his teeth)
Narrator: -for how could they forget spilling the blood of their own family, a cruel trick orchestrated by the God of War
Kratos: (Saddened and confused) My wife, my child... How? They were left in Sparta...
(Dratos has tears falling from his face as he holds his sister's corpse in grief and sadness)
Dratos: (Voice cracking from his crying) C-Callie... M-mother... (Sniffles) T-this isn't w-what was supposed t-to happen...
(A fire apparition of Ares appears next to them. Ares has a proud and evil smirk on his face as he looks down at the Spartans)
Ares: You both are becoming all I'd hope you be Spartans, now with your family dead, nothing will hold you both back. You'll both become even stronger, you will become Death itself
Narrator: But as the flames consumed the temple, The Spartans realized their true enemy was the god, who once saved their life, the same god, who had now taken everything from them
(The Temple burns to the ground as both, Kratos and his son, Dratos are kneeling outside in grief and eternal pain. Dratos continues to sob as his grief is replaced by rage alongside his father)
Kratos and Dratos: (Anger and rage) Ares!
(The Village Oracle turns towards the Spartans)
Village Oracle: From this night forward, the marks of your terrible deed will be visible to all (To Kratos) The Ashes of your wife and daughter will remain fastened to your skin, never to be removed (To Dratos) The blood of your mother and sister will be made of a tattoo like your father's as a reminder of how much you are like him
Narrator: And with the curse, all would know them for the Beasts they had become. Kratos' skin is white with the ash of his dead wife and daughter as for his son, Dratos bears a tattoo like his to remind the young Spartan how much he is like his father. The Ghost of Sparta and the Son of the Ghost were born. In the end, in death, they both had failed as the minions of Ares claimed Pandora's Box. Kratos and Dratos' life faded and their cursed souls were cast into the fires of Hades and the Spartans fell into the Underworld, the river sticks beckoning below, the currents strong enough to carry even the strongest mortal to his eternal resting place
(The Spartans are seen falling from a blood-red sky as multiple people are in the same situation they are in)
Narrator: But Kratos and his son had no intention of resting yet, they intended to live, to return to Earth and complete their quest
(Both Kratos and Dratos as they fall, grab onto the Boat Captain's legs, stopping themselves from falling)
Boat Captain: Let go fools! you both won't drag me to that cursed river!
(Both Spartans draw/summon one of their blades)
Kratos and Dratos: There is a task left for us above. We will see completed
(They stab their blades into the Boat Captain's torso and pull themselves up as the Boat Captain grabs Kratos' leg)
Boat Captain: You two again?!
Dratos: Hands off my father, bub
(Dratos kicks the man off his father's leg)(The Spartans fight enemies on their way up as a rope lowers down to them, allowing them to climb up. They begin to climb up the rope, and after a while, both Spartans make it back to the mortal world)
